End of September we enjoyed the last vibes of summer riding our motorcycles (KTM 890 Duke R and KTM 690 Duke) in the beautiful Moselle valley. The latter is not only famous for its outstanding wines, but also for its beautiful nature and the picturesque villages along the magnificent river loops.
During our trip we made a short stop in Traben-Trarbach to visit the medieval Grevenburg Castle (not much left of it), which was built around 1350 by Count Johann III, a son of the legendary Countess Loretta, and was the ancestral seat of the counts of Sponheim until 1437. During the wars in the 17th and 18th centuries, the castle changed hands 13 times. In 1734, it was taken and destroyed by the French. You will also find a cozy little castle tavern and castle garden in the ruins, providing georgous views of the charming Mosel River.
How I recorded the DJI Mini 2 footage:
I used an ND16 filter to achieve a more natural and cinematic look. White balance was set to 6100K and the shutterspeed from 1/60 to 1/80 while recording in 4K 30fps. In post processing I applied adjustments on the highlights, shadows, gamma correcture, saturation of certain colours as well as the colour temperature. For the speed ramps I applied some extra motion blurr and used optical flow to smoothen it. Processing was done on a Lenovo Legion 5i Pro Gen 7 (Intel® Core™ i7-12700H, NVIDIA GeForce® RTX™ 3070 Ti) using the DaVinci Resolve 18.2.6 Studio version.
For whom is interested, I used the ND16 Filter from the Skyreat Mini 2 Mavic Mini ND Filter Set (CPL, UV, ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64).
How I recorded the DJI Action 2 footage:
The footage was recorded in 4K 60fps Super Wide View in D-Cinelike (flat profile) mode with exposure set to automatic and the white balance set to 6100K. In post processing I adjusted the color temperature as well as the highlights and shadows.

Beautiful Castle! Great view!
A wonderful adventure , beautifully edited & conceived.Brilliant production & breathtaking scenes…fascinating indeed…ride the wind & sail the breeze…
Love & respect…Reekashade.
That was a great and fantastic ride to the palace my friend! The view of that place was indeed magnificent. The tables and chairs were gret and very vintage and the way you film every single detail of that plce is indeed breathtaking. Overall, I admire you for making time for sharing such a wonderful place. Have a nice day friend!
Thank you for sharing this video. Wish you good health. Full 5:37
