Today we’re going on a Cretan food road trip across the best island for food in all of Greece. We’ll be stopping along the way in the town of Vyrses to taste authentic Greek yogurt before continuing to the port town of Rethymnon. Here we visit a master in his element making phylo dough to make baklava. Traditions remain unchanged in this hidden baklava factory. After the baklava it’s off to Stella’s kitchen for the best plate of Cretan food anywhere in town. Finishing off in Rethymnon we make our way to Stalida bay to meet up with our new friends Angela and Mike. Their hospitality made our trip to Crete unforgettable, and don’t get me started on that lamb!!!

  1. I absolutely love Greek food. We have an authentic Greek restaurant where we live, and we're their regular customers. Greek food is absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing the beautiful part of Greek with us.❤❤Luke and Mink, take care.

  2. Greek yogurt is world-famous, but I didn’t expect it to be particularly attractive when paired with pie!

Surprisingly, the dough turned into balloons, that chef is so talented!

Baklava is a work of art. I really want to eat it. I feel like I will be happy all day long after just eating one bite!

The lasagna also looks delicious. After watching the video, I feel that Greek food is not inferior to that of Italy and France!

I’m glad you explained the history of the Abbey and made this video richer!

That town is really beautiful, as if traveling through time. Thank you very much for sharing, super great job! 👍🥰👏

  3. Feta cheese in Greece is really in nice chunks compared anywhere even in European countries you don't get as much as you get in Greece.Yes sometimes some food must not be recorded, but enjoyed without camera 📸😊Nice video

  4. Turkish and Greeks actually have same atmosphere. Same food culture. Unfortunately both side of politicians trying to trigger their people when they have cornered.

  5. What an incredible food tour! I love Greek cuisine and I eat Greek yogurt daily, but I bet it's not as delicious as what you had in Crete! Thank you for sharing such a tasty experience!! 🤗

  6. Turkish Bkhlava is the very best ..turkish uses tons of pistachio and thier dough is super thin as well.this bkhlava looks like its lacking pistachio it looks just burnt sugar on a crispy thin dough..Greek yogurt is very good I bet better then turkey..
