We cross our first country border from England to France while bike packing across Europe, from London to Istanbul. We get rescued from the rain and sleep in a complete strangers backyard. The kindness of strangers on this biking journey is amazing!

Liz & Alex

About us: We are a married couple, Liz and Alex and we are currently living the vanlife dream on a multi-month trip up the western states of this US. We are full-time nomads and divide up our time between traveling abroad and the other part of the time in our self converted van all the while fitting in loads of outdoor-based adventure along the way! Our goal is to show you amazing places and inspire you to get outside your comfort zone and pursue your dreams…whatever they may be 🙂

  1. Yes the cycling infrastructure in the UK is poor generally with far too little separation of cyclists from motor transport. Going to be interesting to see how other countries fare. Oh – you insulted 5.5 miliion Scots. Scotland is not part of England! The UK is made up of four Countries (Scotland, Wales, England and Northern Ireland).
