Nid and I recently shared a fantastic day in Laos. We saw many sites, drank and couple of local beers, and tasted wonderful food. We ended our day at the night market where I purchased an interesting bottle opener. The shop owner shared that it was made from US bombs from the Vietnam War. It was a dark reminder of our past and needless military activity in Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
