    PULLED OVER IN SERBIA!



    North Macedonia you’ve been incredible… but it’s that time and Serbia, here we come.
    There was an air of uncertainty about Serbia, was it safe and lots of what ifs? But, we were road-legal, prepared, and up for something new, what could possibly go wrong?

    Travelling full-time is awesome although it has its challenges, particularly in late Autumn when the weather and light levels change, and boy are we feeling it, literally!

      We got flagged down by traffic police in Serbia as well, but he gave up when he walked to the "wrong side of the vehicle", i.e. right hand drive, and we greeted him in English. We'll be crossing into N/Macedonia tomorrow from Pogradec. Somewhat anxious about the insurance cost; I hope we can get away with "motorhome rate" and not "truck rate".

      Hey both, funny you should mention the wind. It’s not since we set off on the van that I’ve been bothered that much by the wind but my goodness…. It’s something else in the van completely!!Occasionally I’ve felt quite vulnerable overnight and not much sleep has been had. Serbia is definitely on our list to visit. Loved Macedonia too . X

      19:11 Now those were awesome looking buildings. Reminded me of so of the ski houses in the mountains of Germany and a bit of the ting 2 story garden homes outside of Prague. 😊

      Haha Yorkshire T bags.. such a crucial part of full timing eh! We left the UK in July back next June and thought 600 T bags would cover it! And of course you can use them twice !! .. hope those substitute T bags aren’t too bad !!😂

      Thanks for the video guys. It’s nice to see the seasons change as you head north. The colours look stunning. High Wind seems to be a bit of a theme at the moment as We’re currently being battered by 56mph gusts and wave overtops in Galway 😮. Oh and when Izzy mentioned that you haven’t got that many left so you’d better look after them. Was she talking about the tea bags, or you hair, Phil 😉

      I really enjoy your videos and would very much like to do the trip that you are doing in our vehicle! We also have a composting toilet but I was very disappointed to see you emptying the pee pot on camera. You may not be aware but in areas that are trying to stop or reduce wild camping one of the biggest arguments against vanlifers was 'what do they do with their toilet waste'? And then they produce photos and videos of people dumping toilets or worse images of the dumped waste. One example of this was the Algarve in Portugal about 7 years ago when the residents were trying to stop vanlifers and their campaign went on for months. The toilet theme was always high on the list of objections. Personally I would prefer it if you edited out this sequence but of course it is your choice what you do but please consider the consequences of this type of video.       We’re following your steps, almost. In Albania now, hated it in the first few days but looking beyond the filth in the north, we’re open to new perceptions, as indeed you guys were…you’ve taught us a great deal, for which many thanks! We’ve plenty of Yorkshire tea…
