This is part two of our summer trip to the south of France in our Grumman AA5. As you saw last time, we began our journey departing from a blustery Biggin Hill headed for a deserted Le Touquet.
In this episode, after refuelling and clearing customs we got straight back in the plane and headed out for Tours. We initially flew along the coast and literally had a birds eye view of the rain clouds coming up the channel that we had managed to avoid, before heading South routing past Rouen and Le Mans before landing behind a RyanAir Boeing at Tours.
It had been a long day so we checked into a local hotel overnight before continuing our journey although as you will see in the next episode we didn’t quite make it to Bergerac.

That was quite a wait for part 2. You have fans now, you need to push these out over a few days otherwise there will be a revolt :). Hopefully picking up my first plane this week and looking forward to many trips into france with the family
Always imagined doing these sort of trips with my children when I got my PPL but never got round to it. They are adults now! 😅
Wonderful
