Senior Travelers: Every stop covered on the video, was easy and fairly accessible for seniors. You could choose your level of activity. The old city had some major elevation if you decided to go off the main pathways, but no major hiking or elevation was required.
Solo Travelers: Dubrovnik is a bit spread out, so transportation should be considered if planning a trip. As part of the cruise, I was able to join excursions, which made it easier to get around, yet I was beholden to their timetable. I found that frustrating at times and, as stated in the video, I felt like there was much more to see.

I love Dubrovnik and the general area. As I had mentioned before, I stayed in the city for 2 months eventually visited everywhere there. I know you didn't have time, but there's a nice history museum (about the war) and restaurant at the top of the hill that the cable cars go to. They have a day pass, and if you purchase it about 3pm – 5pm you can use it that day through the next day at the same time, which gives you lots of time to visit everywhere. That's what I did. But hard to do from a cruise ship.
I'm not sure if they ever rebuilt a huge hotel resort that sat on the Adriatic, that had to be stopped during the war. I went there and it was totally abandoned. The initial suspension bridges opened before I got there but since then they've built another one.
One thing for sure, everyone that lives in the different countries of ex-Yugoslavia have a different prospective about what happen. And is still a very sensitive topic.
