Byblos, Lebanon is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Here there are layers of history from ancient civilizations like the Phoenicians, Romans, and Crusaders. The Byblos Castle and old city walls tell stories with every stone.
It’s too bad that tourism to Lebanon is tricky (right now), because there are so many jaw-dropping experiences in the country.
In fact, whenever I tell archeologists that I’ve been here, they freak out! (I actually encounter quite a few archeologists because of my job.)
