  1. Number 2 is false; Hamburg is known as the "Venice of the North" and does have a lot of canals stretching along the Alster and the Elbe. In fact, it has more bridges crossing it's canals than Venice and Amsterdam.

    Dresden lies on the Elbe, but has no canals. It is called the "Florence of the Elbe" (Elbflorenz) because of it's architecture.

    Number 3 is also false, because the capital of Germany is, of course, Berlin. 😁
