World War II and Post-War Period: During World War II, Bangkok was occupied by Japanese forces. After the war, Thailand, which had been a neutral country, was used as a base by the United States during the Vietnam War.

Contemporary Bangkok: In recent decades, Bangkok has experienced rapid urbanization and development, becoming a bustling metropolis with a diverse population and a global reputation as a major tourist destination. It’s known for its vibrant street life, cultural attractions, and economic significance.
