German town Bamberg and its surrounding accommodates over 200 breweries. We decided to explore breweries within the town headlined with legendary Schlenkerla brewery and its famous rauchbier – smoked beer. We also traveled to Forchheim to have a look at local Kellerwald. Another day we hiked a part of “13 breweries” hike just outside Bamberg. All caped with attending football match in Nurmberg.
We visited 17 breweries, enjoyed about 40 pints and had so much fun within these 4 days. Bamberg is a paradise for beer lovers, but is also known for its traditional historical centre. And local cuisine is also excellent!
