Often cited as a remarkable site of taste for its world renowened oysters, the town Cancale is also rich in historical and cultural treasures. For nature lovers, the path along its rocky coasts are ideal for hiking.
It lies along the coast to the east of Saint Malo. It is a picturisque fishing port popular with visitirs, many are drawn by its reputation as the oyster capital of Brittany. Though a small town, it is well served by a large number of restaurants, many specialising in seafood.
Sad to say we dont eat raw food in which how they served the oysters so we opted for steam shrimps and shells.
We also had a quick stop to a supermarket to try their chips or crisps.
