Fort William is probably best known for being the town from which people use as a starting point to climb Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. As the weather warnings were out and I was totally not equipped to climb a mountain, I had to find other things to do.

I made my way up Cow Hill which offers great views of the mountain and the town itself. After a long day walking, I visited the town centre and the wonderful vegan cafe, The Wildcat.
