  1. Less than 1 month i will going to Japaan bymyself too, this video make me wanna go ASAP as a solo traveler, thank you for the insight and courage 🙂

  2. I love hearing different reasons people go to Japan. Like Dan said, many did because of pop culture. I know I did too. But the reason I love visiting again and again is the community and society culture. I have been to other parts of the world and Japan is the safest I feel. It is also the cleanest and most orderly country. It is a combination of urban convenience and rural beauty, all within easy rich with comprehensive transportation.
Thank you Dan and Ken. I look forward to more videos of foreigners' hatsu Nihon taiken ❤

  3. Wow really interesting interview. Japan for a first trip is really a massive leap so kudos to Dan for doing that. Sounds like he's really enjoying his trip which is honestly fantastic stuff!

  4. I would be doing my first solo trip this December in japan. It was very intimidating to think about how i will be away from family and friends for so long, but watching your videos has given me so much more courage and confidence. Thank you so much Kenchan for your videos I am so thrilled to visit.

  5. Great interview Kengo-san and Dan!

First solo trips abroad are always nerve wracking and Japan can be a sensory overload. Kudos to Dan for having the guts to do it.

Its perfectly natural to feel a little overwhelmed, the key is how you deal with that, and you did the right thing, just giving yourself a mental shake and not letting it stop you from achieving what you want to 👍

  6. Well done to Dan, 20 odd years ago I did a sole trip to Japan as my first overseas trip and it can be a pretty scary thing to do. But it was a great trip for me and sounds like he is enjoying his trip too. Good work! And good video Ken, i like these interviews they offer different perspectives on travelling.
