My experience in Kampot was totally different than the noisy life in Ho Chi Minh and Phnom Penh. This town is very laid back and relaxing. Nothing fancy here but lots of great Khmer and Western food. Here, I really enjoyed the getaway from the big cities.
A small town in southern Cambodia best known for its sleepy riverside atmosphere. Here, you’ll find plenty of restaurants and bars with accompanying live music as you relax along the river. Travelers often pass through Kampot to pick up top shelf pepper or visit the natural beauty of Bokor National Park, but this quaint little town has a lot more to offer, whether you’re looking for a full day of adventure or a relaxed afternoon of riverside lounging.
