I ended up stuck in Surinam, the country with just three international flights a day, after my flight got cancelled. Here’s how I got home the long way round.

  1. Noel, with all the travelling you do, you must experience regular periods of turbulence, how do you cope with it? How do you sleep, especially when it's prolonged and on a long-haul?

  2. Gol fly to Belem from PMB very reasonable prices.French Guyana is even worse , locals fly up to Paris and back to Brazil just to cross the border however Air France is introducing a cross border flight soon.

  3. Sorry Noel but you take up way too much space on the overhead compartment provided if you were in economy class. 2 small bags may not be too much if you fly business or first class. Now you know. Next time don’t say ‘thank you’ to the security searching you unnecessarily, they don’t care about politeness.

  4. "I need extra touching today"😂😂 . Big burley Security gaurd stood round the corner😂

Wow the flight crew on the last plane couldn't even be bothered to ignolage you!
Rude or what?! Isn't that part if the job?

  5. I'm very sorry that Suriname doesn't have much options to fly out at will, but I'm very glad to hear that you've enjoyed your flight on Surinam Airways, and your stay in Paramaribo. Hope that you'll have a nice rest on your idle time with your family.

  6. Woww, you caught a glimpse of a scant plane to be seen just before taking off from Surinam ,, an Antonov 12B of CAVOK AIR from UKRAINE,, which spent many months flying from Houston to Managua before the War.
