Onboard a British Airways “Queen of the Sky” the Iconic Boeing 747 jumbo on possibly one of the most iconic routes in the world from New York to London. This was the day flight from New York to London, BA operate only one flight that leaves New York in the day, arriving in the London the same evening. All other flights leave NY at night arriving in London the following morning. An incredible flight in BA’s Club World cabin. Departure was at 8:05am, after the standard long taxi in JFK and huge queue waiting for departure we were airborne at 8:35. Thankfully a short 5 hour 45 min flight meant our on time arrival wasn’t in jeopardy. We were served with a breakfast about an hour after departure, I chose the fresh fruit to start, which is accompanied by a warm pastry and fresh Orange juice. Followed by the Blueberry Pancakes for main. Both were absolutely delicious and presented perfectly. Some beautiful views as we fly along the North East coast of the USA and towards Newfoundland. As we approached the Irish coast we were greeted into European airspace by a beautiful golden sunset. Before commencing our descent into London. I didn’t film much of the initial descent as the cabin lighting was still on so could only see reflections really. But once the lights were dimmed for landing and the glow of the city of London came into view I started recording as we came out of the hold and joined the approach onto RWY27R. Despite pushing back 5 mins early, but taking off half an hour behind scheduled because of congested JFK, we still arrived on stand 20 minutes early in Heathrow!

I flew to New York the previous week, funnily enough on the exact same 747, but unfortunately didn’t have a window seat on my outbound flight. So the opening shot of the aircraft at Heathrow was taken on my way to NY, but is still the same aircraft.
An absolutely flawless service by BA. Couldn’t fault a thing. Entertainment service was refreshed compared to 747’s I’ve previously flown on offering so much variety of TV, Games & Movies. Service and presentation was immaculate from start to finish in Club World, on & off the aircraft and the crew were brilliant; couldn’t do enough for us while being very down to earth and great to chat with. This is what BA are good at and its clear to see why they dominate at the top of the market between Europe & the USA. Offering up to 14 daily flights between London & New York!
I am flying to New York again in 2 weeks, but this time with Virgin Atlantic, very much looking forward to trying out one of their brand new A350’s! Was supposed to be flying home on an A340, but unfortunately it has changed to a 787. But I shall be doing flight videos on those as well to see how they compare to BA.

As always by *Full Flight* – I do not mean that I started recording in New York & didn’t stop once until landing in London. I simply mean that the video features all stages of the flight from leaving New York until arriving in London and all points of interest in between. Full Flight is just the name of the series of videos I do on my flights around the world. If you enjoyed this, be sure to check out the rest of my “Full Flight Experiences” playlist on my channel.
