The story of Cuckoo clocks in the Black Forest area dates back to 1630 when in cold winter months Farmers carved & crafted clocks using pine wood from the black forest area of South Western Germany.
The House of Thousand Clocks has two shops in Triberg in the Black forest area, Germany and a real sight to behold. The village itself is charming and you can spend an entire day there. Not just a store but a leisurely shopping experience. Staff are friendly and speak English. And most importantly, they ship internationally.
