  1. The demise of the Aral sea is one of the worst man made environmental disasters the world has ever seen. The Soviets diverted the two rivers feeding it to irrigate cotton fields and it slowly dried up. However I think plans are in place to revive it. It has been dammed on the northern Kaszakh side and consequently that part is refilling with wildlife slowly returning. There's hope. Good video. 😊

  2. Access ramp to enter the station from the street, but then two steps to access the platform, and a low platform with steps to climb aboard. I'll take it as a sign that they are trying to make things better? I know it is a slow and costly process, but they'll get there! 🙂

  3. Great video (as always) 👌 and the “in exchange for a small donation” line is definitely something that I'll be using from now on whenever necessary to describe activities/dealings of “the” kind 😛 Take care man and thanks for the amazing content 💖

  4. I haven’t traveled by train in Kazakhstan but flew into Atyrau once. This involved flying to Almaty, then getting a flight of three and a quarter hours back along the route I had just covered (with a Mr Bean movie being shown all the way) to Atyrau. It is a very big country.

  5. How did you get to Aralsk from Sofia? Amazing.
Former fishing villages on Aral sea, oh shocking.
Man with Melon 😂 and Igor the cat. The videos are becoming even better, funny and entertaining 👌

  6. Great trip. It sad to see Aral Sea in current time, and I don't know can this water body recovered again like normally? Overall great room for overnight trip.

  7. Great stuff! How did you manage with station names translation into Kaz or Rus etc? Anyway if you need any help with it feel free to ask 🙂 looking forward for the next one within Kazakhstan edition

  8. Price of admission : "Igor, the station cat" & " Man with watermelon." "Boy With Apple," the painting in Wes Anderson's "The Grand Budapehst Hotel." Thank you for these flourishes & glosses.
