BATH, ENGLAND 4K walking tour with Captions

Hello friends! Today, we are in the UNESCO world heritage site of Bath, England. The Romans built baths and a temple in the valley of the River Avon in 60 AD and named the town Aquae Sulis (“the waters of Sulis”). Bath Abbey was founded in the 7th century and the town became a religious centre. In the 17th century, Bath once again gained popularity as a spa town. The architecture of this Georgian era, crafted from golden colored Bath stone is still predominant in Central Bath today.

Today, we will wander through the Roman Baths and the charming town. I hope you enjoy!
