We went to Warwick Racecourse Caravan And Motorhome Club Site and met up with @PoshcatsCamping and @yorkshiremotoroamers . We had a look around this campsite and a walk around Warwick itself.

  1. Thank you for this – definitely one to go to next year so we can explore Warwick.

(We like the Morris Leisure sites -. we went to Poston Mill earlier this year, Llanberis and Shrewsbury and Ludlow the year before. Their facilities are very good as well as bus stops nearby to get into the towns)

Happy Christmas 🎄 to both of you and Poppy and Tara

  2. Happy Xmas to all three of you. Enjoyed your vlogs of Betws-y-Coed we did a vlog there when visited on our scooter while staying at Carrog.

You do some driving Bob very encouraging for us newbie’s.

    Kazy n Garth Adventures x

  3. Just a thought on waste water drainage points, have you ever thought about fitting a reversing camera under the motorhome next to the drain tap, pointing down at the ground, enabling you to see when you are directly over the drain.

  4. Always lovely to see you both and we inevitably end up having a good walk and a lot of fun. Thank you for all your support with the planning of the 2024 Europe trip. It's going to be special for us all with new places, events and countries ! Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year and we'll be in touch very soon. 😀 Trev

  5. You have to leave the site well before the racing starts the punters coming to the course use the same access to park on the centre grass area and no parking by the fence on race days some book makers set up on the area away from the main stands etc etc

  6. We’ve been to all the Morris Leisure sites now except the one at Riverside and can highly recommend them. Hopefully visiting Riverside in 2024.
I liked our visit to Warwick site at Easter 2021 but wouldn’t stay on the tarmac hardstanding next time because when it rained heavily the sand which is everywhere bounces up on to the van, steps, water containers etc and makes a mess, wouldn’t be such an an issue in good weather though. So next time it would be gravel or grass for us. Great video and thanks for that look at Riverside and the local facilities and amenities. keep the videos coming.

  7. Hi Bob and Jenny a great video as ever and so glad you enjoyed your stay in Warwick it is a lovely place so much to see and do it’s not far from us so we visit fairly often it’s in a good location near the m40
The site looked nice and a good base and ideal this time of year
I was thinking of you driving over from north wales there have been some awful road works on local roads in this area of late it seems one set finishes and one starts!
Hope you both have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for the new year
Ps hope poppy is better now

  8. We’ve stayed on the Warwick racecourse site, as you said it’s quite a handy stop over. And at £27 not a bad price, especially if that includes electric. My gripe over the CAMC pricing is when making a booking the price is from something like from £25, then plus £5 for electric hookup (understandable) but then if there’s two of you it’s another £11 for the second person! I can understand a small charge but how do they justify £11 ? I know a second person may create an extra bit of water usage, chemical toilet waste and may use the shower facilities, but come on not £11 worth of extras! When we go to a site it’s very rare my wife will use the site shower, she prefers to use our onboard shower, so the £11 charge makes that extra little bit of water and chemical toilet emptying a bit expensive in my mind. I now try to avoid CAMC sites, and will not be renewing my CAMC membership when it comes up, I’ve found independent sites with facilities just as good as CAMC sites but much cheaper with no hidden extras, just a site fee and EHU fee.
