My understanding is that Italy is in dire need of young people who wish to stay there, so I don't think they'll be chasing you out of the country anytime soon. 😉

Amazing, Campo imperatore and Rifugio Duca degli Abruzzi ,I was there many times and I have family in Aquila ,people are really nice too.
These Plato of Campo imperatore are out of this world ,but I still found a better place hidden somewhere in Europe to base myself after 25 years of travel ,I kind of felt the same way as what your are feeling now I needed something to call home,my life changed in a very positive way after I satteled ,when you be a nomad for 25 years travel,at some point you start feeling the calling automatically you start looking for that place that connects to your vision and hart chakra with meditation you know the place is where you belong. I've always love the "addicting food" as you put it. The people are warm and friendly, the language and heritage is beautiful. The architecture and fashion are also amazing.

There's no place like Europe. Every single corner is something else or something familiar. Feels like home, even though lot of countries. I've been watching lots and lots of travel blogers, all over the world, and every single one of them returned or missed their home country. I feel Europe like a country, and there's no place like it. ❤
I spent years in Australia and was sad to leave but on the airplane lookin down on nothing ness I realized there was nothing there for . Getting back to the USA was like heaven but much had changed I had to adjust, there is no place like home after being away for 18 years, there is no place on earth like the USA !!! You can leaver but you will always want to come back and might not be able too…
