The new family roller coaster not only goes forward, but also backwards downhill.
The course of the train intersects several times with the course of the new hanging roller coaster “Hals-über-Kopf”. The two new roller coasters deliver a breathtaking competition.
When designing the family roller coaster, we were inspired by one of the most famous Swabian folk songs: “Schwäbischen Eisenbahn”. The song, written at the end of the 19th century, describes a turbulent journey on the Swabian Railway: from Stuttgart via Ulm and Biberach to Durlesbach. The railway line now fictitiously continues to Tripsdrill. The roller coaster is designed in the style of a 19th century steam locomotive and has multiple compartments. In keeping with this, the name “Volldampf” (Full Steam) was chosen for the new attraction.
