On October 1st Virgin Voyages’ Resilient Lady set sail on a 7 night Greek Island Glow Voyage around the eastern Mediterranean. Sailing round trip from Athens she made stops in various ports within the Greek Islands as well as Turkey. This was her second to last voyage of this itinerary for the 2023 season.
Her second port of call was a visit to Rhodes Greece. Sailing between Turkey and the island of Rhodes as the sun rose she made her way towards the port. Circling the end of the island the Crown Iris was already docked in the port as the Resilient Lady arrived. It required a close maneuver as she had to slide towards the pier around the stern of the Crown Iris and avoid her lines.
Docked right next to the medieval city of Rhodes the sailors onboard the Resilient Lady had an incredible view and sights to see right from the port. The Crown Iris left in the afternoon while the Resilient Lady backed out of the harbor in the evening, had to turn around and then set sail as the sun set.
