The highest mountain is not Rusi, it is Rysy, pronounced like Risi, where the sound i in both positions is pronounced like in the English word it.
Actually, Mieszko I didn't establish the Roman Catholic religion. He established the Christianity in 966. The big schism dividing Christianity into the Catholic church in Western Europe and Orthodox churches in the Eastern part occurred in 1054. Since that time Poland has become part of the Latin (Western) part of Europe.

Hey from Wrocław – the birth rates are low – its no longer a case op people leaving PL actually i see more and more of my friends that left PL coming back. im 39 i have 2 kids and im an anomaly among my college/ high-school friends… only couple of them have a kid and even less have more then 1. In my opinion its because the last 8 years and the government that we had which benefited lazy people and made it hard for the working class;
The health care is shit – although better then US (you wont get a life long debt for visiting the ER) but still the lines are long and you are way better on if you can afford a private health insurance
on top of the one provided by the government;
On the IT front it (im a it guy) is not the Government that did anything. Its the intellectual capital that Poland (people that grow up in the communist era and were tot to "figure it out them-self" and their children [Me] ) has and Tech companies realizing that they can do it cheaper and better in Poland then anywhere else i what broth all of that business in to Poland
Food : Pierogi try "Ruskie" and "Z kapustą i grzybami", bigos, żurek, kotlet schabowy, gołąbki ang kiełbasa z grilla <– i promise you will love those
For food it is hard because each region has something which their specialized in. But to get most "polish" food I think go mountains – Zakopane I suppose (quite expensive). For best food in a single place and most various go Krakow (anything on Kazimierz).

About the size of Poland… yes it is like a medium sized US State, but it is slightly larger than Italy, way larger than UK, and not much smaller than Norway, Finland or Germany. So European standards are different, since it's much more cluttered continent.

It is interesting to note that in order for Poland to disappear from the map for 123 years, the 3 major superpowers of those years had to join forces. Individually, they would not have been able to conquer Poland. Even in an alliance of two….

I think that now most Poles are also afraid of a potential conflict with Russia, which is why we do not start families. Unfortunately, bad times have come. This economic growth over the last 30 years is due to a creative and hardworking nation, not politicians. Let's try to imagine where Poland would be today if not this all wars. This betrayal after World War 2 is still alive among Poles and we do not want it to happen again, we have always belonged to the Western world.
If you looks for wild mountain area go to Bieszczady then its legendary place in polish mentality 😉 And back to population 37 mln its in Poland itself but abroad would be around 20-30 mln more. PS. Why? as we started to flush billions of usd down the toilet (debt) paying for useless american toys for a war? Poland is not a superpower, Poland is country full of sneaky politicians, with fooled voters listening to what others have to say, these older and more intelligent. trust me.. i live here. Birth rates in Poland are low for various reasons mainly disparity between genders, there almost 3x time more man then women and most of young girls get married to people from USA and Germany so simply speaking it's impossible to have positive birth rate as there is not enough women. Add to that migration and that Poland is still poor country and you have results as seen here. Poland will never be next supper power because by 2080 it will be empty.
When you talk about Polish military and how good it is, you have to look at "Grom" which is Polish Special Forces of Military

OMG! Watching this film was a total waste of time!!! I do not know where do you actually take this stake of crap from but you certainly should stop. Or maybe LEARN anything upfront but you definitely do not look like willing to learn anything. Among many different silly information: The colors of the Polish flag are white and red and they mean traditional national virtues – purity and braveness. You may not understand this as we have over 1000 years of tradition of White Eagle and colours and you have stolen your tradition from several other coutries. There is no White Eagle in the Polish flag!!! The flag with The White Eagle on it may be used in diplomacy or in the Navy, and is pendant to certain regulations. We have a good adage in our language: do not push yourself onto the poster if you can not perform. By the way, wearing a hat inside a building would be considered to be a rude behaviour by many Poles. It does not concern the Jews. Good bye and never again.
