Have you ever wondered what it’s like to cross an entire ocean on a cruise ship? Well, I recently spent 26 days on a luxurious ship for just over $1,000! I traveled 9,000 miles from Seattle to Sydney on Princess Cruises’ Royal Princess, a beautifully designed mid-size vessel that is capable of accommodating over 5,000 guests and crew. Join me for this special overview of my incredible journey across the Pacific! I’ll discuss how I nailed such a terrific bargain for this unique voyage, and I’ll give you my top tips for finding your own deals on a future oceanic adventure.

  1. Thanks Nate for this great and helpful infos. I can’t believe how cheap you paid for this 26 days cruise πŸ’™ I’ve been on 2 cruises each for only 1 week. I’ve never really liked it because it gets too busy. Also you could spend a lot of money when you get to ports of call and the choices of tours are overwhelming and expensive. I really like this 26 days cruise. When was the exact days for this Royal Princess Cruise?

  2. Absolutely brilliant, Nate!!! What a fabulous experience you had and so well documented. Fantastic info on all counts. I am taking my first cruise on New Year's Eve to Cozumel and Belize. After seeing how I like it, hopefully I'll use your info to book more!

  3. very cool! I have never sailed on princess before. but I have done a lot of royal caribbean and celebrity and I sailed the caribbean and hawaii If you ever get a chance to go on a nother cruise go on celebrity in the retreat every stateroom is a suite and you get on board credits and get to dine in a suite guest restruant every day on the cruise it can be expensive but its worth it

  4. Hi Nate, thanks for this comprehensive look at the highlights of your extended cruise. It is amazing to me that something so big and heavy can cruise on the Ocean for Thousands of miles. The inside of the ship reminds me so much of a fancy hotel or Casino. One thing you didn't mention is elevators on the ship to take to between all of the different levels. There must be quite a few Elevator banks to accommodate all of those people. Glad that you caught the water swaying in that pool on the rough sees as that shows the power of motion and water. Was the Gelato bar included in the price of the cruise? Gelato is usually more expensive than regular Ice-cream so that would be a nice perk. It is nice that you were able to stop along the way at different cities to get out and explore. The stops are worth a lot to as you are able to experience the different ports without having to pay extra to visit at another time. The arrival in Sydney was really special with all the beautiful lights, especially to lights surrounding the Opera House. Have a great Christmas season and wish you a Happy and Healthy 2024.

  5. Great video Nate, really loved it and very informative. I’m looking at booking my first cruise for next year. After 12 years being in the Navy, I was like I have no desire to be at sea again, but now I do lol. Btw did you leave the Philippines? Thank you!

  6. Yet another great video, Nate! I recently took my first cruise (to Antarctica) and m considering another cruise experience. It was only a 12 day cruise but I’m curious if solo travel ever gets lonely for you? TIA!

  7. Hello Nate! WOW! Love this video, especially since you left from here in Seattle! We have been talking about doing a cruise from here in Seattle and now I can't wait to go! The Princess looks so beautiful! What an amazing Voyage! We are flying out to the Philippines soon for Christmas to check on our Hotel project and visit family! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

  8. I LOVE πŸ’• THE PRINCESS CRUISES THE BEST FOOD OF ALL THE CRUISES SHIPS THAT I SAILS TO NORWEGEN ITS JUST OK ….. I LIKE THEY ENTERTAINMENT ABOARD SO ENJOYABLE… LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT βœŒοΈπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ’ͺ

  9. $1k for a balcony cabin for 26 days, total score. The chances are the line needed a room for crew or entertainer, so move a paying guest to make room. Bora Bora is stunning. We love the Royal class, even when full they never seem crowded.

  10. It's nice to meet you 😊 I'm buboy 182 / 5,000

  11. Hi Nate,
We were on the same Royal Princess cruise as you (though Vancouver to Auckland). Great to see your video and perspective of the trip.
We booked this cruise in advance and had a much smaller balcony cabin than you…We had the drink/gratuities/internet packages and paid over $15.000 for the cruise…Wow!
Thanks for sharing your booking/savings tips. We are well cruised people, but maybe next time, we should be more cruise booking savvy like you πŸ€ͺ
    Happy safe travels, JJ
