The UK city of Portsmouth is one of fastest growing cruise ports in the UK! Portsmouth has a long history of Navy history and history of ferry connections to France and Spain, but over past ten years it has had a growing cruise market sending cruise passengers across the world on Luxury cruise liners.
In 2024 it will handle over 150,000 cruise passengers and have 90 cruise calls, rising to over 100 in 2025. Next year Portsmouth will have regular ship calls from @sagacruises , @VikingCruises , @norwegiancruiseline, @VirginVoyages and @AmbassadorCruiseLine. Portsmouth is going to become a much larger player in the UK cruising scene and I’m all for it.
I sailed from here on Virgin last year and the service was fast and efficient which is the most important things for me.
