I had moved on from Taiping, a city that I thoroughly enjoyed, to the city of Ipoh. All I knew about Ipoh was that it was once a big tin mining city and it was now known for its street art. Would I discover anything else to keep me interested for 3 days?
I arrived early on a Sunday morning to find a busy street market with food, live music and all kinds of items for sale. Ipoh wasn’t holding back! I was straight into the action.
Arriving early meant I could head to the old town to check out the street art and some of Ipoh’s main attractions. I was shocked at how busy it was!
In just one day, Ipoh had won me over!
Join me as I explore the old town of this historic city.
