Going to major cities in Ukraine doesn’t always give you the full picture of how life is for the average person and what lies beneath the surface. I decided to go to a mid range city in Western Ukraine called Chernivtsi to get a more inside look and chat with the locals about their opinion on things. I was born in Ukraine myself, but moved to Canada at the age of 5 and would only go for a weeks to visit every couple of years. Even though I think I have more insight than most people about what life is like there, I still have a lot to learn and a lot of the country left to explore.
