Although Malaysia seems to be one of the less popular countries in Southeast Asia to travel, there are many reasons why you should support their tourism economy and travel there yourself.
On top of being very affordable when traveling from the US, the diverse culture, beautiful landscapes, and delicious cuisines make Malaysia an excellent travel option. I’ve heard that some parts of Kuala Lumpur can be dangerous like Manila (Philippines), but when I was there I definitely felt much safer and free to walk around and get lost than in Manila.
Thanks to my good friend Vic, he recommended me to go to Melaka, which is about a 3 hour bus ride south of KL. I ended up staying there for almost a week, and although it was very hot, the vibe and food there was nothing short of incredible. I can’t even count how many times I ate Char Kway Teow and Nasi Goreng, and the smoothies made from freshly blended fruits are extremely refreshing, especially given that it was close to 39 degree Celsius (102.2 Fahrenheit)!
Thanks again for watching. See you in the next video!
