Did you show us your car in one of your videos? I'd be interested in seeing what you bought and what those types of cars cost. I heard that cars are very expensive in Thailand.

Things shift-change a lot in the markets. (Where did they put it now???) It's no surprise that the airlines make any changes that accomodate traffic surges or slacks. Fares go up and down and rumours abound. 'Nuf said? Thanks Peter….. keep up the good work. Thailand Paul PS I really like the Motor Show at Impact too. There is a minibus shuttle from Impact to Chatuchak BTS and it's only 35 bats so that's how I do it now. Up to you.

Seems expats move there to retire but just complain about price costs.. if you can't enjoy life and worry too much about 20 baht increase or a 50 baht increase maybe you didn't plan your retirement properly…

I've done several trips to Vietnam. I haven't encountered any issues I can remember. Caught a luxury sleeper bus from Phu Qoc to Vung Tau…no issues. Your friend seems to attract these scams..??? I did get jibbed in Bangkok by the police for riding a motorcycle on the motorway….copper said "you can pay me fine now or we can go back to police station" pretty sure that money went in his back pocket, all countries have their fair share of scams….thats life.
Pupmaster 1 is correct about EVA Airlines 2 x 23kg check in baggage. My lady friend flew home to Vietnam from Brisbane (Australia). Baggage Allowance 2 x 23kg check in and 7kg Carry on.
I just double checked EVA's website. Economy 2 x 23kg allowance for routes including Australia, US, Canada, Europe and New Zealand.
Just Google EVA Airlines baggage allowance, it there in black and white.
Peter you shouldn't be put off by Andrew's experience in Vietnam. I've been to Vietnam numerous times (twice a year) I now spend most of my time in Saigon/HCMC and haven't experienced rip offs and scam artists. On the contrary I've found Vietnamese on the whole to be friendly and honest. Give the place a chance before you condemn the country on one person's advice.
Business Class is 2 x 32kg allowance….that's 64kg.

Peter been watching your channel for quite a while though rarely comment but had to after watching this Andrew character talking about about Vietnam. I am married to a Vietnamese woman and have travelled both in the North & South in tourist & non tourist areas. Nothing has changed there from my first to last trip the people are great. Also food does not have to be spicy to be delicious. Not sure i believe everything he says unless he has met 0.1 % of untrustworthy people in Vietnam. Also if he is going to run people and country down he should learn to pronounce things correctly. Sorry Andrew the people in Vietnam are exactly the same as before covid. Ps Merry Christmas everyone.
