Why do foreigners always add "s" to Jollibee? It's just "JOLLIBEE".
Rico's Lechon is not yet a chain restaurant but it started lechon maker and a lechon stall that sell lechon.
Try not to eat too much in the Philippines or you will suffer later in life from diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, obesity, etc especially because there is pork in every dish. Lechon is popular but I think it is the Philippine's No. 1 killer.
Lechon πππ
You need to eat that pork adobo with plain rice
Just a pinch on that shrimp paste
no pickpockets down there? there is an abundant supply of pickpockets in the Philippines so you guys be careful.
The calamansi will ruin it. Why you put it on rice?
Try the sisig in pampanga
amazing β€
welcome to my home city cebu
visit badian canyooneering and south of cebu there is a lot to enjoy there
MANGO FLOAT, HALO-HALO, BUKO PANDAN, UBE ICE CREAM ARE THE TOP LIST OF DESSERT YOU CAN EAT IN THE PHILIPPINES.
YOU MUST TRY SIOMAI SA TISA. IT'S ONE OF THE BEST FOOD IN CEBU.
Looks like you stop at Laguna Cafe at SM mall in Cebu, go there all the time. Food rocks!!
If u want to enjoy and truly taste the Filipino food, then bring a local guide to help u, or ask help and interview a local on how to properly eat food….u do the food tasting like ordering a pizza then eating it one topping at a time….avoid being stupid…
They don't like most of the things I can tell π
Sisig is a Filipino dish made from pork jowl and ears, pork belly, and chicken liver, which is usually seasoned with calamansi, onions, and chili peppers
That tiny fish is anchovy, thatβs what the Italians add in their pizzas,,,
1 βPβ in Filipino.
every filipino food should be eaten with rice.. eveey fried or grilled meat is good with vinegar/soy sauce/kalamansi and hot pepper πΆοΈ
Regarding the Kare kare peanut sauce dish. Itβs cooked that it lacks saltiness therefore you need to add the fermented shrimp paste. Not a lot but each spoon full with rice you should add a little to each bite. π. You donβt add or mix shrimp paste to a full plate all at once. Just add a spoon full on the side of your dish to add a to each spoonful each time.
I love the Philippines, but lechoen does not taste good. There is too much pork smell. The chef never eliminates the pork smell and just roasts the pork. There are many ways to eliminate the pork smell, like taking the blood out from the pork before cooking or washing it very thoroughly and boiling it and washing it, and throwing it again. This is never done in Philippinos lechoen. Maybe Im too sensitive, but you can't cook a chicken or pork without washing it throughly
i think, it's a chinese culture to eat rice after a dinner as an "afterthought"
most southeast asians, eat rice along with the viand of all sorts
I will subscribe tooπ
12:41 see there, the meat pieces who has this thin white line between them? This is pigs ear.. The ones without that are pigs face.. At least you had a traditional one, a lot of people do it with regular meat now.. But the difference in texture is part of the experienced of the dish π
So that was a plus for the minus that you had no sizzling plate.. Thats also why you got a normal egg, otherwise it would have been just the egg fresh out of the shell that just cooks with the rest heat while mixing it π And really, after or along a few bears, it is really perfect π
14:25 Thats true.. Can you guess why? The AC.. π So it really is the best place to meet up, because some family might not have an AC or saving the money for having the AC run of full power in a full (and often small and badly isolated) house π Better spend the money on a drink or just sit around.. So it really became the go-to place in the Philippines.. In some countries they are now slowly closing everywhere, I dont think that will happen in the Philippines..
15:57 it has a long history, back to the spain of course.. because San Miguel you can also get in Spain, but it is a seperate company since very very long ago.. But now also try the Red Horse.. The beer the filipinos drink when they want to get hammered π
Your is felop vilog bank kok and pehpliness π’π’π€ΈπΏββοΈπ€ΈπΏββοΈππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½
Hahahaβ we, too, stand firm with always choosing road noise over copyrighted restaurant music πππ
For the sisig you suppose to put the lemon(calamansi) direct to the pork then mix it not together with a rice xD I imagine the rice taste sour and it is weird xD
that sisig is a sht!, , better try next time the sizzling sisig
The fish thingy is called bagoong and you just need a little for every bite coz its salty but its pure umami.
They are anchovies
Sinangag
That sisig is not good! Only have sisig in hot plate sisiling! Red horse beer good too give you extra strong! But GOLD EAGLE BEER THE BEST!
Why you didn't wrapped your leftovers then give it to the street dogs or cats rather than throw it away, the more generous the people the more blessings they'll receiveπ€
if you're in Cebu, for really great Lechon? Talisay or Carcar… da bomb!!!
Rico's lechon is not the number 1 lechon in cebu, it is in carcar market where you can find cebus best lechon
