  1. Yes the Christmas river cruise is the #1 on my bucket list unfortunately I don't fly so I'm positive it will never happen sadly plus very expensive. I'd be very upset if my cruise was canceled for a charter cruise. Especially since we book at least a year out. My very first cruise it was bermuda and bahamas never made it to bermuda someone hurt on ship we had to wait for helicopter. We went back to bahamas not a big deal

  2. ParoDeeJay and EECC Travels also currently have some vlogs on their river cruise trip. Looks like something I'd enjoy, especially during the holidays. I love Christmas markets!

  3. It seems very unfair to dump thousands of people's plans for the corporate god, money. We book a cruise and are held to every condition, sub paragraph, and cost at the time of booking. Why does it not apply to the cruise lines? They had an offer posted, accepted and agreed to when they took our payment. I don't care if it is a week out or a year out from the cruise. The product was offered, booked and at least partially paid for.

  4. My husband and I went to several European Christmas markets for our honeymoon and they were just so magical. The food is spectacular (getting a nice hot Trdelnik with chocolate inside in Prague is a high I'm still chasing lol). I'm actually keeping a close eye on the river cruise sailings and prices for a future anniversary trip!

On the charter thing, I don't mind charters when they don't displace already booked cruisers. I'd be super frustrated if I had been bumped from a cruise after spending the time and energy to research the whole thing and make all the decisions around it. I think there are many of us that only really get the chance to sail once every few years or less and to have all that planning out the window would be very upsetting.
