To enjoy the nightlife. We have clubs here? Many clubs… We have many clubs. Names are dedicated to Spain like Ibiza Ibiza! Ibiza and… Chicago! Chicago. The nightlife is great. No place in Africa has nightlife like here. Oh? You will enjoy the nightlife. I had not expected a nightlife here.

It is Saturday night today & I’ve a flight to Senegal tomorrow. I slept after packing but then Arish called me & they said the nightlife here is special. You have seen nothing if you’ve not seen this. So, I charged my phone so that I can record & show it to you.

This video will be about nightlife & drinking. It is not for kids and I don’t recommend anyone to drink excessively. We’ll go and enjoy the nightlife today. This was our taxi’s condition. Let’s go the apartment now. All of us are together here. We’re at Mr. Sandeep’s house. At Mr. Sandeep’s house!

It feels we’re in India. We’ve come down from the flat. We’ll find a taxi now? We’ll take a taxi now. And then we’ll go to the club. Okay! As, the one who has car has gone somewhere. Okay. So, sorry for that. No worries, we’ll take a taxi.

Let’s go and take a taxi. How many guys are up there? 2 candidates. We’re already 4 people. He won’t make 6 people sit. We’ll have to take 2 taxis. Yes, we will take 2. Let’s go! It is about 1 am and we didn’t leave early as nightlife doesn’t begin until 12-1 a.m.

So, we were in the flat till 12:30 am. It is 2-4 minutes after 1 a.m. We came down and are now walking to find a taxi. The police & army officials scare people especially if you’re an Indian. Why Indians? They’re rich here. So, as they see an Indian

They start scaring them as these guys told me. They gather around the car and ask to show passport, visa, etc. They start pointing issues and then ask for bribe. As I told you in the last videos, it is in a failed state right now. Corruption is quite high. Police instead of fining you

Will ask for bribe. It’s because the state order is failed with some areas having army control, some are controlled by Jihadis’ , etc. Government officers also think to keep the money instead of giving it to the government as funds aren’t being used to benefit the country as the ministers are also corrupt.

Corruption can be seen throughout the system. I brought my passport with me. Don’t make a mistake to go out alone like this in Africa. It is 1:20 am now. We’re finding a taxi. We got a taxi. We did? We are finding one more now. We’ll have to take one more.

At 1:30 a.m., the shopkeeper is cleaning the fridge. One of them didn’t have their passport so we’re picking it from his house here. We can’t go out without a passport as otherwise the police troubles a lot. There’re yellow taxis here. Bolt app also started recently here.

I booked taxis using it, as you saw in the previous videos. We’re finding an offline taxi since it’s uncertain if Bolt will have one. There’re a few taxis on it. If we have a passport, the situation is different. But why do they trouble when we have it? Right.

We’ve the passport, etc then why do they stop? So they told me what the police do. police will corner you even when you’ve all the paperwork & question you for having heroin, cocaine, etc, so as to demand for bribe from you by scaring. Especially Indians!

It’s because there’s not much at stake for the locals but they know Indians run businesses and have money & a lot to loose. So, the police stops them and if you give them huge amounts of bribe like 10-20,000 CFA ($16-33)… They’ll take a minimum of ₹2-3000

When even ₹100 ($1.20) is a lot for them. They ask for huge amounts and if you don’t then they’ll take you in a corner saying you’ve got cocaine or heroin. They can even try to frame you. So, I have informed you about what all happen here.

Let’s go & see if something happens on the way. If you have passport and visa Yes! Then there’s no problem as no one can stop you then. Okay! If you don’t have the documents you’ll come in fault and they’ll try to …. . They’ll harass you!

They can harass you or ask for money Can trouble.. Oh, Hamburg Süd! This has come from Hamburg, Germany It must have come to the port but this is a landlocked country. It might have come to Senegal… So, they’ll trouble and harass you?

What if I tell them my passport is in the hotel? No, its not possible. You don’t have a passport in that case according to them. Okay, according to them… They’ll take you in a corner and search your pockets. Okay! They’ll ask for your passport and demand for 10-20,000 CFA ($16-32)

If you don’t have money, they’ll take you in the dark. Yes! They’ll ask if you have drugs. They’ll harass you in a way that you’ll have to pay them something. Yes, right. They will let you go only then. So, you’ve to keep 2 documents: passport & visa. Okay!

There’s no need to worry, if you’ve these two. Let’s go! Is this taxi from Mercedes? It’s Mercedes but it is very… Most of them are Mercedes here. They’re old, and I think imported from Europe here. Yes, they are all brought from France. I’ve notices this in Africa like the cars are too old.

20-30 year old cars from Europe are brought here. They’re usually Mercedes Benz! But, they’re very old. You can get it in 2-3 lakh. 2-3 lakh CFA? No, in INR. INR… but it’s still expensive for such a car. So they are able to get 1-2000. Did it break down or not yet?

It has already. It has! The car has run out of petrol and hence stopped. It was giving jolts, see . He has again… He’ll start it. He’ll start it? Africans are also another level! Its turned off right now? No, it is on. It is okay. It is but with jolts.

Another taxi is coming, to take us to the location. He called for another? The one that will drop our friends … Yes! That will come to pick us up and then we will go. Okay! This is Africa’s nightlife. Yes! This is the night life, so be prepared.

You’ve to loose something to get something. Over here, you’ve to loose a lot to get something. It’s about 1:45 am. I started sweating while sitting in the car. Don’t know with whom he’s fighting. I’m not understanding anything. He’s speaking Bambara language. He’s speaking Bambara? The local language here! It started. He’s trying.

Which is more popular than this. We’re going to the Chicago club for now. We’ve entered the club and there’s music playing inside. Hindi songs are being played here. Hindi and Punjabi! It’s a small club from here to there. It has this space only. This is another part of the club inside

Which is completely empty. There’s no one. We’ve come outside. I’ll tell you about the ambience was like inside. As you saw there was no crowd and just a handful of people. There were 8-10 girls at the bar who weren’t from Mali but were foreigners. They were Russian, Moroccan, and from other countries.

As soon as we entered the club… I’m telling you honestly all of them started looking at me. We’re there inside for about an hour or so and I didn’t look at a single girl for even a second. You can make it when people are staring at you.

There were 9-10 girls at the bar and some more were dancing there. So, I didn’t like the place and found it awkward. I’ve had enough. I’m not enjoying so we’re leaving. We’re going to another club. It wasn’t a normal night club and had some weird kind of people.

People weren’t there to enjoy normally. I wanted to meet the local people & check the ambience here. But, I found it a bit off. I don’t like such places. We’ve come out & going to another place. Interestingly, there were people from Lebanon here. Like, ethnically Lebanese. They’ve their businesses here

And are here since long. They’re also in Senegal. Even the club was owned by a Lebanese. Yes, taxi! Shall I sit in the front? Respect you man for opening the gate. Thank you! As if I’ll pay to open the gate. Acting smart! People are deceitful here. Very deceitful! Do not trust anyone.

No trust at all! There’s a phrase, but I won’t say it out here on the channel. I know that phrase. Oh, but it is so lively. See, it’s 2:41 am. It is around 2:45! This is Ibiza, the most popular club here. What? This is posh club. Okay.

Yes, it seems so from the cars. But they suggested another club B-blus? What’s the name? Byblos! Byblos! Its the name of a place in Lebanon. Clubs are named after places, like Ibiza is in Spain, Chicago is in US, & Byblos is in Lebanon. So, the clubs are named after places.

See Brooklyn, which is in New York. Oh stop! We’re in Byblos club and we got divided into 2 parties now. We 4 are here and remaining went to another place. The second party is also here. There’s bowling here. There’s arcade there. Snooker and all here. That’s the bar there.

They’ve got foreigners to the bar. It is 4:15 am and we’ve come out of Byblos and are now going to Ibiza. I can’t believe that places in Africa are still open at this hour. Ibiza is next to it. This is the club I showed you from the taxi. We’re going in this now.

That one was huge but empty with a few more Indians or some bartenders. So… it is nice. It is great basis Africa but I have seen extreme nightlives. So, I didn’t find anything special. It is very basic. This is Ibiza. All the locals come here. It seems crowded here.

This is the situation at 5:15 am. Taxis are still running as people are going home from the club. There’re taxis lined up here. There were mostly locals in this club. Blacks from Mali! Girls were teasing so much. Like how boys tease, they were teasing the same way.

Some or the other girl was pushing. They were intentionally coming & teasing. As I go to another corner, some other girl came. They really crossed the limits, that I got irritated & sat down on a chair then. Come! Let’s go! Wait- wait. No, no let’s go. I have my flight.

Come, sit. We will drop you! Why…we’ll all go together. We’ll go together. Come. Come, sit at the back. Wait, come! Why? What happened? We didn’t sit in that one and came here. Drive in full speed! You know the Columbus Hotel? Explain Columbus Hotel to him. I’m back at the hotel.

I’ve my flight to Senegal in 3 hours. I’ll sleep for 2-2.5 hours. I have already packed but I’ll still change. I am very tired. It is already 6 a.m. They said to wait for a while as Ibiza club closes at 7:30–8 a.m. but I told them I don’t have the energy.

I will have to sleep for a while as I’m low on energy. I sleep on time and it is already 6 a.m. I sleep at 12 so I exceeded 6 hours. I told them I don’t have energy and to let me go. So, everyone came back now. I got down first.

I’ll go rest for 2-2.5 hours and then I’ll leave for the airport. I hope you liked the video. I couldn’t show you much since it was dark inside the clubs. But, you must have got some idea that there’s some nightlife here. It is not zero.
