Checking Out Sukhumvit Soi 10 In Bangkok, Thailand

Hey how’s it going everybody it is about 10 till 7 on this Saturday morning and for some reason this is not me at all I’m not a morning person I sprung out of bed and I’ve been out walking around since uh 6 enjoying a little bit cooler

Morning it’s still in probably in the 70s but I’m not complaining this is benjak kitty dog park I want to say it’s about 180 acre Park I’ve did several videos maybe I’ll link one down in the description to benjak Kitty over here is the dog park area you have to keep your

Dog on a leash um but dogs even on a leash aren’t allowed in the other part of the park unless they’re guide dogs this is the huge parking lot and then this whole area is uh Park and I’ll show you this area over here The Green Mile

Which connects off to the other large park off in the selom area uh lumini Park so 1 km connecting between the two parks and over here is the con vention Center Queen s kit and that large water feature right on the side of Raja pisik

But we are not uh doing a park video today I’m going to show you soy 10 and at the end this is the end of soy 10 you’ll find this old school Bridge which I just saw a motorbike go over but obviously cars were a thing of the past

Uh but you can bring a motorbike apparently I saw one go through the little fence and just come come over and there’s motorbike parking right up here on the left so let’s take a look at uh soy 10 uh sukit soy 10 in the ahoke area

And as we’re heading towards 10 we are going from the park towards the terminal turn 21 area in sukumvit here is the beginning or end of The Green Mile again not uh not anything too fancy to look at but it is a connection through the city

Where you can safely jog or ride your bike and end up at lumini in about a kilometer there are Gates plenty of Park workers and security and it’s 5: in the morning till 9:00 I believe some of the other parks are 10:00 but I want to say

I just saw a 900 p.m. sign so it’s best to get out here at uh Sunset and enjoy the park it’ll just be packed you’ll have the place pretty much Yourself In the Heat of the day but uh I’ll leave that to you and right at the entrance to

The park you’ll find this ECB church and I believe that is a school I’m not sure what denomination Sunday worship service first service at 9 second and 11 look up ECB for your church needs and right across from it is a smaller center point you’ll find these buildings all

Over town normally huge highrises this appears to be like a six story unit but if uh being next to the park is uh something you’re interested in you can’t get any closer than that and right across from from that is the Veno suet 10 another six-story kind of an L-shaped

Building it look to be smaller units but that’s okay if uh you’re okay with small in one of the more accessible parts of town just not far up the way sukumvit and the BTS AOK and sukumvit MRT Junction and it looks like I caught the 700 in the

Morning picture of the security team they take pride in uh their uniforms and monitoring their different condo buildings okay so that little building is Center Point but this big huge condo you can just catch a peak of it there it’s at least I don’t know what that is

25 30 stories tall is right next door and I I knew that I’ve been down the street many times I was just uh I never saw a smaller building but it’s probably just some some building they took over next door get you a better picture of Center Point yeah Center Point are they’re

Condos also service departments it’s it’s a it’s a a little mixture of each some Center points are fully serviced Department other are more individually owned condos but yeah you’ll see Center points all over all over Thailand really and here’s the thin building low

Rise here on 10 I see uh it says 350 m to the BTS es so 200 m to the park starting at 5.49 million Bots if you’re interested in purchasing fin looks like a nice place I guess there’s four towers and I to to I don’t know if

Uh walking what was it 400 meters is uh that big a deal but they have a to toque if you need it I guess some people have uh issues with their knees and all I guess I just take for granted uh getting out here and walking around this

Beautiful city not everybody has that luxury let’s check this building out it’s the sukumvit park building beautiful highrise right in a so and right across the way from that is the sukumvit Casa eight story building perhaps maybe six judging by those balconies larger size units that’s all I have to go from on

The outside if it’s a little tiny balcony it’s probably a small apartment big huge balcony big huge condo and right next door is a series of this these four story I’ll call them just type Shop houses or walk-ups you’ll see a lot of people they’ll take them and convert them into beautiful

Beautiful homes I mean there’s nothing wrong with the just these simple homes the way they’re laid out but uh this guy has actually spent some money to really make a nice downstairs and uh he’s still working on the upstairs but yeah you can have a a really cool kind of four-story

Walk up and just own that whole deal a a in the ahok area I’m sure that’s not going to come too terribly affordable but there’s other parts of of Bangkok and certainly other parts of Thailand where you can probably get a heck of a deal on some of these walk

UPS a lot of the time what you’ll find is a business downstairs and then they live upstairs well here is uh some kind of donation Bangkok community help Foundation donation drop off point in kitchen hey good to know if I uh want to donate some items maybe this is a place

I need a look out and then they probably help people by staying upstairs I’m not sure that’s cool I’m all for people in need getting help and we walked up to the Galleria 10 hotel and I’ve been in this Lobby a few times to use the restroom to be honest

But uh I was just looking at the sign it said they had some happy hour specials and you can see they have a small pool probably up on the uh top deck ah I’m just waiting for the happy hour specials it was two for ones on

Something there you go buy one get one from 11:30 to 530 at The Nomad bar on the eighth floor all right go enjoy uh a little exercise in the park and then come have a Mojito on the way home one that gallery has a happy hour breakfast

339 bot per couple $199 per person that’s not that’s not bad I it looks kind of maybe well I was going to say Continental but I see omelet station and all that’s not bad for this more expensive soak area and the Bon Siri has a couple of towers here’s the second here’s the

Breakfast area at the Galleria looks real nice buffet style but $199 I’m on the move right now before the sun comes up or I might get a bite to eat it’s still early in the morning and I also said I want to get out here before the sun comes up obviously the

Sun has been up for quite some time I’m did you hear me three or four times say I’m not a morning person this is correct I meant before the real heat of the day kicks in which comes early probably by 9: I’ll be wanting to uh head for cover

But for now I’m out enjoying this uh this walk this morning and here’s a little market sumu mini market this might have changed hands I thought it was a well no it says sumu Pet Shop I was going to say I thought it was a a little pet store but I guess it’s

Both it’s a whole little compound really mini market sumu pet shop and here’s the Chan and gupa wellness spa massage mineral thermal bath mineral thermal bath is 4,000 tibot body massage uh aromatic massage is 18800 to 2,500 I guess depending on an hour hour and a half something like that facial

Treatments body scrubs body wraps there you go I’m not a huge Spa guy but I’m sure that’s a lot cheaper than hitting the spa and the United States or Europe and opening soon it’s uh 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. they also have a little uh eery I guess I’ll call it coffee

And roast Center it says and we’re almost to sukumvit here on 10 I know there’s some businesses up here on the right a couple of massage places a couple of little bars tucked away I actually walk back there often times the ladies are sitting out front but I think

It’s a little too early not sure what time it is 7:30 in the morning and on the right here did I say there was a Taylor shop I believe there is small hotel called cozy at 10 but it might be super affordable and then down

Below is cozy at 10 food and it looks like they even have a late night food stand next to a massage place and then this is face and nail shop and then tucked away back here oh here’s another place to do your laundry 1 kg 100 bot that seems to be

The going rate Ting laundry and another massage place the Cozy at 10 a beauty salon yeah I think there’s a couple of uh girly bars back here where the young ladies are sitting out front yeah I think at the very end maybe just that one bar I thought there were

Two and here is the uh check-in restaurant and bar checkin looks a little little uh we’ll call it rustic but if you’re on a budget it’s probably better than a hostile I’m not a big fan of the uh dorm room hostels I don’t really think you save that much money you might

As well just get a cheap hotel and here is the S oil massage jacuzzi and that bar I was thinking about is called the lollipop right here on the right morning here’s the lollipop right across is uh haircut shave and laundry service and then we pop back out on 10 and exit on

Sukumvit well wait a minute there is a something Studio here par Paradiso or par Paradiso yeah Paradiso I don’t know it’s a little spa and that’s uh sug vit we’ll pop out and uh show you how close we are to terminal 21 here’s a monk they’re normally out early collecting

Their donations and giving different blessings and you can see the gates of soak BTS so there you go that’s terminal 21 on the left so thanks for fing along this little walk around Bangkok consider following the channel for more looks I’d appreciate that you take it easy and have a great day

  1. Thank You for the tour! One thing that I've noticed in all Your walks is that the streets are all clean! I….or We were there a bit many years ago but stationed in the P.I….truly heaven….its all good

  2. In My days in the Philippines it was very advantageous to have a 'steady ' girlfriend that was a buffer between Foreign and local…..just give a few bucks and all is good…..

  3. Hey Joe. Another great video. My wife and I will be there soon and we’d love to buy you a beer or two to say thanks for all your great content in and around our favorite part of BKK. Is there a way I can DM you?

  4. Centre Pointe Soi 10 and Galleria 10 are good value four star hotels. Good deals on Agoda.

Chan and Yupa tearoom/restaurant has a nice brunch offering. For about 400 baht you can get huge omelette or French toast with bacon and sausage and large specialty coffee or tea. Nice garden ambience.

Keep up the good work. These videos are well done.
