الى الشرق من مدينة النبك ب 15 كم وعلى مسافة ( 80 كم ) من دمشق باتجاه الشمال يقع دير مار موسى الحبشي السرياني في واد وعر من وديان سلسة جبال القلمون , يرتفع 1320 م عن سطح البحر . حيث يوجد في هذا الوادي آثار برج قديم يعتقد ان الرومان بنوه لمراقبة الطريق القديمة التي كانت تسلكها القوافل بين دمشق وتدمر . وقد تحول هذا البرج إلى دير حين أتى الرهبان في القرن السادس الميلادي وسكنوا المغاور ويضم هذا الدير كنيسة غاية في الروعة .
يعود تاريخ بناء كنيسة دير مارموسى الحبشي إلى منتصف القرن الحادي عشر ,. وهي تتألف من قسمين : صحن الكنيسة وقدس الأقداس .
يقسم صحن الكنيسة إلى ثلاثة أروقة , تفصل بينها أعمدة مربعة الشكل , وتنير الرواق الأوسط نافذة عالية كبيرة نسبيا في الجدار الشرقي . أما قدس الأقداس فيضم الهيكل والحنية ( المحراب ) ويفصله عن صحن الكنيسة حاجز قسمه السفلي من الحجر والعلوي من الخشب . تظهر على جدران الكنيسة المزينة بالرسومات الفريسك : ثلاث طبقات : الأولى تعود إلى القرن الثالث عشر , وهي الظاهرة الأكثر وضوحا على الجدران . وهي تعبر عن الرؤية المسيحية لعلاقة الإنسان بالله في بعدي التاريخ المقدس ولحظة السر الدائمة ..

في هذا الفيديو، نأخذكم في رحلة إلى دير مار موسى الحبشي السرياني، وهو دير قديم يعود تاريخه إلى القرن الخامس أو السادس الميلادي. يقع الدير على جبال القلمون السورية، ويبعد حوالي 80 كيلومترًا عن العاصمة دمشق.

يبدأ الفيديو بمشاهد من موقع الدير، حيث يرتفع على قمة جبل شاهق، ويطل على مناظر خلابة للمنطقة المحيطة. ثم ننتقل إلى مشاهد للصعود إلى الدير عبر درج يبلغ طوله حوالي 400 درجة.

عند الوصول إلى الدير، نشاهد مشاهد من الكنيسة الأثرية الموجودة فيه، وهي كنيسة جميلة جدًا، مزينة بالفسيفساء والنقوش الدينية. كما نشاهد مشاهد من توزيع الطعام على الزوار، وهي خدمة تقوم بها الرهبان في الدير.

وفي ختام الفيديو، نحضر ندوة عن تلاقي الحضارات، بدعوة من الأب باولو، وهو راهب سرياني خطفه المسلحون خلال الحرب في سوريا، ومازال مصيره مجهولًا.
