Flying Santa Christmas market | Fliegender Weihnachtsmann Weihnachtsmarkt | Rathaus Hamburg Germany

“Der Weihnachtsmann” is one of the  highlights of the Rathaus Christmas   market in Hamburg Germany. For over 20 years,  a sparkling sleigh has been whizzing past   visitors to the Christmas market on  the town hall square. In it sits the   Christmas-crazy high-wire artist dressed  as Santa Claus in a fireproof costume.

This procedure is repeated three times a  day – at 4, 6 and 8 PM! Then the eyes of   the visitors to the Christmas market quickly  look up. A wire rope is stretched there,   from the large Christmas tree on Alsterfleet  to the eastern wing of the town hall. From

Here Santa Claus whizzes over their heads. “Ho ho  ho,” can be heard from the speakers. The same man   has been in the costume for over 20 years. His  name is Rambo Bügler And he is a professional. After the performance he is more relaxed and  strolls through the market, posing for selfies

With small children and excited ladies. “Hello  Santa Claus,” can be heard from all corners. The Rathausmarkt, also called  Roncalli Christmas Market,   is well-known and the most popular of all  Hamburg’s Christmas markets. It’s located   at the Rathaus square – the central square  of Hamburg, home to Hamburg’s city hall, the

Rathaus. Check out my detailed Rathaus Christmas  market video, link on screen and in description!
