BARCELONA, SPAIN: TRAVEL TIPS & BEST FOOD 2023 – OUR ROMANTIC BIRTHDAY WEEKEND
I’ve been really trying baby trying to hold back this feeling for so long and if you feel like I feel baby then come on oh come On I’m you breathing in and out of my Me me Me Me hello from Barcelona we have arrived to this wonderful Spanish city today we had our flight from waro this morning then we were super tired we checked in in our hotel which I filmed for you and I will show you our room tour a little bit
Later and then we were very hungry and we haded to have a quick snack before our tonight’s dinner and a place which we chose for our today’s SN was the place which is behind me which is called somar it is called somar restaurant here in Barcelona it is a mix of Spanish and
Italian cuisine and my final impression is that we actually like this place and it was really nice it’s a nice place to have a quick snack I’m not sure if it’s a place to have a full big dinner but for a quick snack is great what we had
There where the shrimp Caraco patas braas a cetta and Ron with rabu was what we loved the most I think was uh the r Toni pasta with Ragu I think that was the dish that was the most special of them all the Bas braas were great as
Well right now we’re going to walk here in the center of the city and we’re going to head uh to the place where we’re going to have our tonight’s dinner and that place is called bar Allegria and I think tomorrow I will have more energy and I will tell you more about
Our hotel and about our trip that is planned here in Barcelona just Me from you breathing in and out of My Me Me we are having some light snacks at the moment here in Barcelona and we came to a place which we already visited before this place is called vinus this is a place for really really delicious Tapas we’ve already had some cettas we’ve had cretas with ham and chicken
And cettas with shrimps I love both really a lot my husband preferred the ones with ham and chicken we’ve also had batas braas which were really really good we tried them four years ago and they were as good back down right now we’re waiting for our shrimps and tuna
We are having some glasses of [Applause] Cava we’re finishing our work quick lunch here in Vitus in Barcelona and we forgot to film The shrimps for you because they look so tasty we add them all so fast our favorite shrimps here were the ones with garlic I think they are the best we also ordered the tuna
But then they ran out of tuna so we didn’t get one but that’s not a problem really everything is here is so delicious I would come back to this place again and again and right now we’re making a list of things that we still want to see here in Barcelona and
The list is quite big so we still have lots of things to do here we’re going to finish our glasses of Cara and head on discover more of Barcelona and do some little [Applause] shopping good morning everyone we are starting our next day in Barcelona with breakfast this is not a typical
Breakfast that I would have but we’re on vacation so I decided to change it today we are in a place called Sandwich Club here and today I’m having a fried calamari sandwich in a really nice and soft B BN and my husband is having eggs benedict with salmon a bit of coffee and
We are ready to start the day After having a delicious breakfast here in Barcelona we went to have some more coffee and the first place where we went is I think the most famous coffee shop coffee special specialty coffee shop here in Barcelona which is called Nomad coffee but uh for some reason on
Saturdays and on Sundays they are closed so we went uh to the closest option that we had out there which is called s coffee uh s coffee is quite a big coffee chain here in Barcelona and they are specialty coffee chain as well we’ve got a Cort coffee here which tastes
Delicious we also got some coffee to drink at home and after finishing this little one we’re going to head to parkel here in [Applause] Barcelona He He I’ve been really trying baby trying to hold back this feeling for so long and if you feel like I feel baby then come on oh come On Let’s Get It Old St get it all we are sitting next to the Sea here in Barcelona right now and we have just finished our lunch and I really really liked our today’s lunch we went to an Italian place which is called chonis I hope I’m pronouncing this right this is a worldwide chain of Italian restaurants
And here in Barcelona they have their restaurant in the Soho House Hotel this worldwide famous chain of hotels which is only like for exclusive members but check Onis is available for everybody we made a reservation to go there a few weeks in advance I don’t know if you are
Able to go there without the reservation the place was uh I think it was almost full because they were not sitting people at certain tables only at at some tables in the restaurant The Lunch was delicious I wouldn’t say that the result that I had was the best result of my
Life but it was definitely delicious and I think chonis is a great place for a special occas we had a special occasion today it’s my husband’s birthday so we really enjoyed the place the place itself is very beautiful it feels like they are uh paying lots of attention to
Details in the interior design in their uh table wear in the food in everything and everything is top quality the bread the drinks the ingredients in your dishes so that is definitely the place that I would recommend to you in Barcelona for a special occasion by the
Way the prices there I would say they were not as high as we expected because this this place feels luxurious and if you compare to the same uh if you compare this restaurant to the same kind of restaurant in France for example I think it would be like two times more
Expensive than here in Barcelona and well right now we’re going to walk around a little bit more maybe buy something sweet maybe buy some coffee and in the evening we’re going to have for dinner and probably have some paa because we didn’t have any during our Barcelona trip so let’s go
Discover more of Barcelona Than Good morning everyone this is our last morning here in Barcelona before we come back to warso and I wanted to have a little morning catch up with you and tell you a little bit more about our trip so we decided to come here in Barcelona without uh lots of planning
This was um a trip for my husband’s birthday he was turning 30 yesterday and we wanted to celebrate it in a special way we chose here in Barcelona a hotel called midmost I think it belongs to The Majestic group but I will have to recheck it and we really like this hotel
It was situated straight in the center of Barcelona the room was nice and clean the bed was not the most comfortable bed but it was it was nice we had towels bathrobes the bathroom looked really nice I will show you the room tour and
All in all this is a hotel that I think deserves your attention here in Barcelona we had a breakfast uh here in the hotel once before we went to the outlet and uh I really like the breakfast breast uh you know we are the kind of people that like to go to
Different places to discover breakfast around the city but in case you need to have a breakfast in the Hotel this breakfast is really good they had uh Spanish um you know some Spanish specialities both like Spanish ham hamon and also some nice cakes anyway uh here
In Barcelona we had lots of good time we had lots of delicious food and you know we love eating delicious food uh I really loved the Tapas that we had both both in vinu place and also in Som restaurant and the bikini sandwiches those tiny bikini sandwiches that we had
In bar alagria they were so special I really don’t understand why this uh type of Tapas is not very famous around the world like patatas bravas for example and yesterday we went to have a paa because we didn’t have any paa during our trip at all and yesterday evening we
Went to a place called um KRA Mon and we had a paa there which was really really Del delicious I think that Pia is one of the top pasas that I’ve ever tried uh also an interesting fact that yesterday it was impossible to find a taxi here
Next to our hotel in the center of Barcelona we uh were trying to use a Uber app the bolt app and the freen Now app and they didn’t find any taxis for us so we ended up taking a bus and it was very easy the public transport
System here in Barcelona I think is nice it’s clean it’s modern uh the people inside of the public transport are all nice and and and you know uh it’s very easy to get the tickets uh when you get on the bus uh you tell the the bus
Driver that you want to buy a ticket and uh then you just have to tap your phone or your card on a special little machine to pay for your ride inside of the Metro you have the machine selling tickets for the Metro everything is in English and
Very easy to understand so I find that this is nice thing for tourists that you can use a public transport system here in Barcelona and uh well the weather was really good we are here in the end of October and I think that is a great time
To come to Barcelona we had about 20° each day my husband was wearing the a t-shirt all the time I was wearing some light sweaters or like uh tur legs and I found that this weather was very comfortable to walk around the city to discover the city and to enjoy its vibes
And well right now we’re heading for breakfast in a place called La Papa they are supposed to have really nice delicious pancakes and waffles and toast and then we are going to walk a little bit more around Barcelona and heads to the airport I really really liked this
Trip and I think 3 days is a minimum for you if you want to discover Barcelona because the city is just so beautiful I feel like I would like to stay here more so let’s go have breakfast and I’ll see you later A E
