World-class Finnish writer Sofi Oksanen shares her experience about Ukraine on her research journey preceding the publication of “The Dog Park”.
Writing the novel, Sofi Oksanen made trips to Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Lviv and many other smaller cities. On her journey she was accompanied by culture specialist and “Nordic Travel” LLC founder Ihor Kucher.
In autumn 2019 the Finnish version of her novel “The Dog Park” saw the light of day and starting this summer Nordic Travel welcomes everyone to walk the roads, which main characters travelled along, and explore the places, where the novel’s events took place. A fascinating tour to Ukraine along the “unbeaten tracks” will show cultural and historical gems, everyday life of a contemporary Ukrainian and dark polical side of the Europe’s largest eastern country.
