Най-добрият коледен пазар за 2019-та година | Талин | Естония | vlogmas 4 (4K) 2023

Hello friends. I’m Emko and welcome to my YouTube channel. Christmas ended two days ago, but for me it still feels like Christmas. Today I will visit the Christmas market in Tallinn and with this video I will end the christmas vlog series for this year.

The Christmas market in Tallinn has been named the best Christmas market in Europe in 2019. I hope it will be an interesting vlog. I will try local food and walk around the market. Please subscribe to my channel and click on the bell, so you don’t miss a single new video!

And now let’s go to the heart of the old town, because that’s where the Christmas market is nestled. Here I am now, in the center of the old town, where the Christmas market is. This market has been organized every year since 2001.

This is the 22nd anniversary of the Tallinn Christmas Market this year. In 2019, it won the “Best Christmas Market in Europe” award. It’s a little smaller now than it was in 2019, but still the aromas of Christmas food waft through the air.

Let’s now go and try different delicacies. Maybe I can buy a hat and gloves from here too. Time to degustate mulled wine.

There were 3 options of glögg. One is non-alcoholic, the second is with a special type of wine, and the third is with Vana Tallinn liqueur, which is very famous all over the world. I took non-alcoholic because it is still quite early and it would be strange to start a day with alcohol.

I also added raisins, peanuts and some other nuts. The aroma is great. It has an interesting orange flavor. It has nothing to do with the glögg I drank in Munich, but it is very similar to the glögg, I drank in Porvoo.

I’ll drink the wine and then let’s see what I can eat here, because it’s already noon and I even haven’t had breakfast yet. Every year the Christmas tree is decorated in the same way. With thousands of white lights, big golden balls and letters written by children to Santa Claus.

For the first course, I can see here soup, which is served inside the bread. I’ve seen it on TV, but not in real life. I wanted to get seljanka (solyanka) soup, but there was none, so I bought a broccoli soup. Now let’s find a place to eat this wonderful-smelling soup.

Look at the soup. It looks amazing. I also added sour cream. The soup costs 10 euros. I do not like. No salt, no pepper, as well as very watery. I am quite disappointed. And now a traditional food for Estonia, namely salmon. The portion is very large, and these potatoes seem superfluous to me.

The fish is baked with various Estonian cheeses. Let’s try it. I hope it’s good, because as I said, I was disappointed with the soup, but I hope not with the salmon. This portion costs 17 euros. I hope you don’t say I’m pretentious, but again I lack tastes. Salt, black pepper, some herb.

For the price of 17 euros, I would say it is too expensive. After eating the fish, I will have something sweet for dessert. At first I thought it was some kind of modern Santa Claus wearing blue clothes, but it turned out to be the Russian Santa Claus.

I will eat this cinnamon heart’s as a dessert. These cinnamon pastries are very traditional to northern Europe. As much as they are the same, they still all differ from others. From the Christmas market in Porvoo, where I bought such a pastry, it was slightly different from this here.

This one resembles a dry cookie. I liked it and the price was only 3 euros. This, my dear friend, was the last video for this year. I hope you enjoyed it and if you did, please subscribe to my channel and click on the bell.

You can also comment the video and give a Like. I love you and have a nice new year. See you next year because then another video from Estonia awaits you.
