There is a great pizza rivalry as well between Rome and Naples, Roman pizza vs Neapolitan pizza.
Naples is the birthplace of pizza and is where people usually go to find the best pizza in the world. We tried street food pizza aka Pizza Portafoglio (which literally means wallet pizza because it’s folded in half) and use olive oil on the crust. Then we went to Da Michele, one of the most famous pizza places world wide. On the other hand, Roman pizzas are very famous in Italy.
So we went to its other branch of Pizzeria Da Michele in Rome. that we can distinguish the difference between Rome and Naples pizzas!
