TRIP DAY 13 | LOGRONO TO VENTOSA | CAMINO FRANCES 2023

On a Camino most of the people as I always said um most of the people very nice but there are few people that you have to forgive them um I had no idea what I was talking about here and you just have to ignore it or just let it go or think

Very nice we still talking um quite often he invited me and my husband to Brazil he oh oh my God he got like a little um Countryside um how do you say hot or something you know little vacation very small with a hammock I love hammock and
So I want to go visit him oh see the connection of the pilgrims are so strong I we met only 2 days and but we talk on the Camino we talk every not almost every day except that one night so I just kept walking walking um the sunrise is gorgeous
There I didn’t see anyone for a while because uh everybody a few a few group went already ready went ahead and I left at 7:00 which is kind of M some people left around 6 every day and sorry my cat is going to fight anyway so turn around and check out the view

There’s a people that I’m camping say hello to this um local guy and then I asked um Chris went by the one on the right he’s fishing Wonder know what kind of fish you got any fish no what kind of fish in there what kind of fish what

Had to walk on the street we had to walk on the street luckily there weren’t many cars but still there’s a lot of um Corners that you can see on the other side And and Uphill but beautiful little Towns I think I said that um something about Vineyard how I missed um home I have a Vineyard at home so I start like my homesickness was kicking in I had no oh I’m talking about the mountain range looks like my home so I made to soes and Uphill of course but
Beautiful I wanted to go check out sortes but I didn’t want to walk up that H little Hill the the I’m going to admit I was lazy I was tired anyway up there is eaus Dort so next time I will go in I promise so I kind of can see or

Town go just be careful gosh there’s not a lot of cars but when there’s car they drive so fast so here is my other favorite moment I met this um old couple while walking in ventoza because um they were so sweet they offer to drive me to Alber first of all and
Then my god um they wanted to pick me up and take me today home to cook me paa because we have a we were talking on the road and that I say oh my God I’m so hungry and I want P so from what Google translate can figure it out can
Translate the Spanish to English they were offering to drive me and cook for me oh my God amazing here I made it to um my ior but I was early approximately maybe half an hour because they open at 2 and this guy were talking about um talk about um restaurant that open on the other side of the town so people are so amazing isn’t it people are so sweet and then they so smiley over there and they’re so offering they I miss Spain most people not
All so this one um since I have a few hour um maybe 30 minutes I walk to the park on the other side of the Alber and sat there soaking some Sun I’m sorry um my record is not so great today because my cat is being it’s 5:30 a.m. and my baby um is being so playful so so here a Plaza Santa Goma so I sat here in the bench for a while it was quite nice um a guy came by
And chitchat a little bit and um and he went on his Way here’s view from my room in the Alor that’s my bunk Bed and then um walk in town to get my Dinner and I ordered um Pizza so there that’s my day W oh

Camino Frances Day 10
EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!!!
I’ve walked over 500 miles/800 kilometers (over 1.1 million steps) of Camino Frances from France to Spain. Camino de Santiago Frances is an ancient pilgrim path across the north of the Iberian Peninsula.
✈️ I began my journey on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from home in Washington State, USA.
🚶♀️ Started walking on Friday, October 13, 2023 from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, France.
🎒 I arrived in Santiago de Compostela, Spain on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. Took me 41 days. 💕
🌊 I traveled to Muxia, Fisterra, & Cee to see the Atlantic Ocean.
✈️ I arrived back home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023! Total of 51 days.
🏋️♀️ I lost over 13 lbs. 👏 Gained a lot of strength & muscle. 💪🦵
This was my longest solo journey to date. Can hardly wait to walk other Camino routes and volunteer my time as a Hospitalora to help my fellow pilgrims along the Camino.
Thank you to my wonderful husband for telling me to go live my dreams of walking the Camino. ❤️
