(Marburg) Good morning from the city of Marburg. We headed from Frankfurt for an hour by train, and this in the background is the train station. Today is December 30th. Tomorrow is New Year’s Day – since it is a holiday. We came to visit the city.
This city is located in a mountainous area and the weather is colder than Frankfurt. We took the bus two stops from the main station, and this is the center of the city. This is what is called the Elizabethan Church, and this is a market. This is inside the old city.
The city is relatively old, and as we said, it is located in a mountainous area, so it is the center of the city. This is one of the inner courtyards of the city. The houses are wooden houses. We were underneath, and now we have climbed these stairs. It remains for us to climb to the top . The distance is still long, but we have accomplished most of it. We have reached under the palace, which is the highest point on the top of the mountain.
This is the highest point overlooking the city. After climbing many stairs, we finally reached the top , and from here appears this palace , which is called the Marburg Palace on the top of the mountain (Marburg) [music] [music]
