We’re going to meop fell and our plans have changed Again we were going to go to this land his farm CL after me thought fell but um unfortunately um Bob’s got a new car Bob makai’s got a new car and they had the toe bar fitted just before Christmas they didn’t have chance to check it and

Guess what the electrics don’t work on it so they can’t join us at the CL at D freeze so we thought well we did we’ve cancelled the CL let them know and uh we decided instead we’re going to go to um Strath Clyde so we can meet up with Bob

And aen because we can pop around there you we can spend some time with Bob and alien cuz that’s really why we wanted to get go up there well yeah because alen’s not working um during this week after Christmas so it was always a good time to get together but because of they

Can’t tow the Caravan we couldn’t meet at the CL so we’re going up to Star Country par aren’t we for five night something like that five nights we’ve got the car with us in 34 of a mile keep left yeah we still got the car with us still there and another change of

Plan tor’s with us so everything’s changed isn’t it yeah everything’s Chang isn’t it yeah we’ll be at meop fell won’t we for a few nights and then on our way up to Bothwell and SCP as we call it one thing a couple of people had commented on the

We to say anything I’m trying not to be in the left Lane at the roundabout take the first exit to A590 turn left onto Ean Road in half a mile turn right onto Ean Road cut the hedges down quite substantially here is Handy you see over the hedges it’s almost like a Causeway through the um through a mar I’m thinking that because it’s quite flooded both s here

Yeah it’s a bit you don’t like this isn’t it yeah so if you meet someone coming the other way it’s quite steep yeah and you’ve got this road here and you’re never quite sure whether someone’s coming down There I do in the edge yeah Tree down there arriving at meop on the left I thinking maybe we could go in there what to the right here P told where to go yeah y Right so we’re going to try down the bottom aren’t we yeah Avid the trees yeah I’m always looking for a picture that doesn’t got overhanging trees with poppy because she gets so worried yeah I know she’s not she’s not worried by if it’s a storm if it’s windy

Are going to work well enough to actually get us anywhere near there problem with this site isn’t it it’s obviously a lot of the pitches are very slopy like this one here yeah we’ve been on that one before and then it slopes sort of to the side it’s sloping

From right to left and left and up front to back so you don’t need like three chalks yeah we definitely have been on that one and that was the other sort of side thing we could go in that one at the side there but yeah there obviously they’re reg graveling

Everything it’s blue pitch anyway you you won’t want to go in this one here with can’t see for the Sun but that’s got a tree in front of it isn’t it yeah about this one here that doesn’t look so bad this one here yeah should be all right I

Think parked up I’m using the the gimbal Jenny says she’s not with me I’m not with you with that no this is the top of the site reception is just over there and there’s a car park just here there a food Vann oh yeah thday Friday Saturday

But uh I’ve got it out really so you can see it it’s just actually we just sort of use it and forget about it it charges up all my phones it’s really useful if you want to make a cup of coffee when you parked in a lab by or off grid

From how long have you had it she’s had it a couple what three weeks just before Christmas sort of crossy lump didn’t she yeah one and it sort of spread a little bit but it it actually seems better now I’ve been using the antibiotics and uh

Um the Moose it is a moose that’s basically what it is because we could couldn’t get to the vets could we before um no Christmas well by the time we realized how bad it was sh we were into Christmas Eve weren’t we s shutting down

So no he took a sample didn’t he and uh he took a sample he put it under the microscope and he said it’s I thought he said it was filla bacterium and he said can’t really say where it’s come from or what’s caused it if you might have pick

Something off off a bush or I don’t know anything else don’t know do we you don’t know you can’t well if she does know she can’t tell us no true yes so uh but she’s been brave and uh she’s getting better that was the reason we came here a day later

It’s actually Friday now we do yesterday weren’t we yeah we were we were supposed to come yesterday um but we’ve come today cuz we wanted to get po to the vet make sure she was all right and also the weather yeah the weather well I mean we had the

Storm didn’t we storm gared storm Garrett we had didn’t we yeah and that was pretty bad where we were yeah so the weather being coming up here has been all right yes and now we’re so we don’t have to cook anything you’re going to order a pizza we’ve ordered a pizza

Border a pizza and some garlic bread tell us what we’re having right we’re having a margarita with J jalapenos and a garlic bread and some chips right so we’ve we’ve texted an order so we’ll wait to see whether what happens and if we get the pizza you’ll

Film The Pizza W you I’ll fil yeah before it disappears yeah before we eat yeah yes so we had to cancel a night and um if you cancel a night you lose a percentage of your deposit yeah so normally your deposit would be taken off the amount that you were going to have

To pay yeah uh so because it was a fifth we um lost4 something right okay but um some but some some private sites would been so if you don’t cancel within 14 days yeah you lose the whole lot what happened about Lander Farm then we’ve lost the deposit just the deposit yeah

Yeah we didn’t have to pay in advance but some of them we’ve been to they want the money $4 days before yeah and they just say you need to take out travel insurance yeah no so I think this is a thing with dogs are getting older isn’t

It they’re we’re going to have more health problems and certainly with says I know have health problems no no you’re never at the Vets are you no I mean they’ve both been pretty good I mean poppy for Westy we haven’t had serious you’re right I think it’s moving

About keep going get distracting yeah yeah um what was I going to say yeah I mean we’ve been lucky with her she we not had serious skin allergies have we no got the Westy tummy but I mean they all seem to suffer from that but uh this

Is the first time uh I’ve had anything like this yeah she seems all right but she seemed all right in herself yeah throughout is she yeah that’s right not trying to bite it or no or rub it I mean the only thing thing I’ve noticed is sometimes she was sort of looking behind

As if what was that yeah maybe she just aware of it yeah but she’s you know she sleeping peacefully now yeah yeah all right this is puppy’s Christmas present wasn’t it what was your Christmas present then see well I had to leave that behind for it to take home with her yeah because

Manager yesterday and uh saying about the sloping pictures here there’s a lot of sloping pictures it does pay to get here early because uh if you’re a moto particularly you don’t really want one of these horribly sloping pictures it’s great if you got a caravan because you you can

Generally get on most really sloping pictures kidy play area here so if you want to avoid that sort of thing don’t come down here I think the only time we once tried to come down here we brought the car and didn’t we have a problem with the car

And there to call out the AA really dark I managed to blow a fuse uh because I shorted out the uh the lead that comes out of the Bonnet into the into the mot home so um we were late arriving weren’t we some reason and uh it was dark and we

Ended up over here somewhere yes that’s right so we we were going to go down there but couldn’t look so dark that’s right yeah there’s not much activity going on at the moment there’s not many people about are they no it’s also 4 Dees so it’s pretty

Cold and it’s raining and it’s quite dark other than that it’s sunbathing weather I found a new dog a dog walk I didn’t even know existed and I’ll show you that when it stops raining just behind us here now quite a Big Field sorry I interrupted you then yeah

Then yeah so really what we’re doing is we’re going to Grange over Sands to buy some toothpaste take the back road cuz they Haven been down here for a while sometimes this is flooded or so I think it was closed as well one time we were here

Yeah doesn’t say it is at the moment does it no Sant are on on a white horse two white horses we may be some time getting past here how deep this is it’s a little bit worryingly deep there I’m not going any further no no there’s a road closed thing on the

Falling out so I’ve had to use the one from the uh from the grill so it can cook with it but I did read I can’t remember who it was the um Caravan NES us with Caravan they about the same vintage as the and they they said they

Found some replacement knobs for these cookers so I might have to have a look for that it’s been a pain right from the beginning hasn’t it yeah yeah anyway I’m supposed to be cooking this yeah I know but you’ve got your camera take taking over there’s the sauce it’s falling inside the

Boot lost it got some of that On well you’ve just brought all your food back haven’t you not good never mind dogs Tara won’t eat hers think the trouble with the weather is they don’t want to go out in the weather so sometimes they stop doing the things they’re supposed to do outside yeah it’s quite hot and

Field there we are a little zoom in I forgot what it’s called now the static site behind meop fell that’s where the hotel is there’s a lower part of the campsite down there and as we swing around there we are yeah so this is the dog walk over there you’ve got the holiday

Lets and reception that’s the top half of the campsite over there we’ve got there’s a lane going down there not sure where that goes and over that way looking to Woods I suppose this amble side isn’t it down there see if I can zoom in a bit more yeah some grass pitches

Here obviously I don’t think they’re using them at the moment we did have a that’s where the eldis Caravan is at the moment we did have a pitch there once that’s quite a tricky pitch there CU it’s sloping three Ways car park there’s a list of places to visit there we Are a look places to visit foul sha M Nature Reserve visit the ospis manushi cadam Buddhist temple I think we’ve been there windir Lake cruises Quaker tapestry Museum GB antiques Leighton Hall and Del main mansion and Gardens are discounts for members there that’s Interesting there’s a what three words for the defibrillator look here there telephone in here oh it’s nice and warm in here books usual sort of thing Leaflets Club information bit of a map here loads of leaflets Here Local information pubs C restaurants cafes and takeaway yeah on the way and a whole wall of information there that’s the El Fresco Food Van that we did it’s local pubs The Woodlands Hotel Derby arms premium Wi-Fi that’s something we might
