Thoughtfully we streamed a lot on the channel a lot of streams additionally uh separate uh videos all the time I’ve made short videos videos I’ve done a lot of collaborations and um so this uh has been a really really content wise great year I think I’ve done like 250 new

Videos on the channel some of them are like reproduced and like retakes but basically like 200 plus videos and there’s a plenty of live streams as well and here you can see actually let’s go through this as you can see this is a one year ago so let’s see if we take

Returned to drink Ria’s moonshine at Ria Central Market and I still have that moonshine from time to time and drink it all right so and we have a Russian flea market and then actually became as you guys know I became the Soviet reporter remember and I still carry that badge

Family do that actually my wife got something for the kids that they’ll pop off something you hold in your hand yeah and last year our neighborhood where we live in Moscow they had actual fireworks in the sky which was very nice yeah that’s awesome so you are you going to

Like are you staying in your suburban area uh or are you going to the city center so I film some around the city and I’ll be in my suburban area for the food part which will be most the video but I’m hoping to escape and get as

Close to the center as I can to do an intro and an outro of the show to make it exciting for my subscribers and and we also just did a live with my daughter who’s popular on the show we did a New Year’s Live where we talked about New Year’s so that’s up

You actually right now I can tell you you’re natural but you’re still like you put the camera you use time you’re uh you know you made sure right now that you’re uh are in the picture the way you want it to be in your perform you know

Ex do you take some time off just and relax in these moments or do you feel like you’re missing the moment from the subscribers and the viewers if you do not film well to be honest I I do need to relax more my blood pressure’s gone up a

Little bit since I started the channel which is about 15 months ago U so I do need to relax more because it is a full-time job as you know I can see your work and I can tell you’re working all the time you know it might take four

Hours to film an episode but it’s going to take 10 hours to edit it um so it is a lot of work but I’m grateful I’m 49 so I have passive income so I can do the channel fulltime even though it only gives me like 200 bucks a month because

Of sanctions and because the Channel’s so young yeah I I feel you and uh I I thank God no blood pressure but uh it does affect mentally being always filming and this editing work is something that’s uh black cat says just babies referring to your age but thank you thank you

But uh it it had it is tough work for real like sometimes you just don’t know you just this editing especially is something but I have one uh I can also maybe give you a tip uh I think if you stream you can stream a lot of stuff and

Then this way you actually release something for your audience but then you can actually also if the quality is not 10 1080 maybe if you download it from your own YouTube channel after you have streamed it but you’re able to download the stuff you already released it and

Re-edit it in case it’s really good and you want to shorten it but this way it gives you the opportunity to stream and I can help you give you a tip about that’s my New Year’s gift uh tip which is which is a good um streaming service because it gives it’s better than

YouTube’s own I don’t know do you use YouTube’s own streaming ability uh yeah I’m using YouTube you know I only started doing live streams about weeks ago I’ve only got like six shows so it’s a new thing that I’m experimenting with it’s nice you know if the audience likes it it’s certainly

Easier it’s it’s kind of like they’re having dinner with me I guess you could say because we’re just kind of talking about whatever it’s just a stream of Consciousness versus an actual show so for me an actual show is kind of like a a comedy drama so you’ve got information

You’ve got humor and I’m editing it together to tell a story in like a 20 minute time frame so because I don’t want to waste the audience time so I want to make it fun I want to make it interesting um and that takes a lot of work you

Know it it sure is and sometimes your YouTube doesn’t give you the uh doesn’t reward you for for the hard work and for for all the time you spend it and you just H and by the way Jason again super super chats no comments just uh super

Good but they’re not like they I find a show has to be like the number one show when some because people are lying in bed scrolling through their YouTube and they’re only going to click on what they think is the very best and and maybe a welding Expo in Moscow they don’t think

Is the very best for example but remember there’s always a surprise in in in marketing in general you know because and YouTube is you know algorithms marketing sometimes you can play safe and be disappointed or you can play just you know random videos I watch a lot of

YouTubers not of not not even those who are in our YouTube community and some random video about bread just breaks off and you know and Russian bread and it’s like a hit so you never know also there’s always this aspect and that’s hard true you’re absolutely right my

Number I’m sure you experienced it yeah yeah I mean my number two video is Russia scary that was an afterthought I did that video is Russia scary just because I didn’t want to be stuck in rush hour traffic I had time to kill and so I walked through a dark poor

Neighborhood and I talked about whether or not is is Rush is scary and that has become like one of the Cornerstone episodes of my show yeah and it was I think it’s your slogan as well now yeah exactly I don’t know why but there’s something catchy to your stuff and I I’m

Not and I don’t mean to like offend anything but sometime I cannot I just want to when I meet you live or in the Via this life thing and I want to say I’m an American living with my wife you always do that and I hello I’m An

Circle which is an above ground line and that’s pretty new and she’s probably talking about that because jaai is popular I are you are you branding your children for your channel now your old older children I think you are some are more popular than others I but there’s a lot

Of great stuff for sure um I haven’t watched the latest one with your uh with your daughter but Josiah first I think I thought he was interesting because you’re uh he’s the oldest right yeah yeah I think there was something in a very good way he hilarious after all

First I thought like this guy just doesn’t want to be on camera leave him alone but then again I but then again he stayed on the camera and actually it and it started to grow on me yes yes and it’s like uh and now you made it more

Like public and bring him like start of he started some live stream for you and that type stuff that’s great stuff for sure so I want to congratulate you by the way I don’t know how old your channel is one year uh it’s 15 months now and yeah Jai actually he he trained

In acting school as a kid for 10 years so he’s been like slowly building this character and he’s he reads the comments and he sees what people likes and he goes with it and he plays the grumpy guy he’s not completely acting he is partly this person and partly making it an

Entertaining show so so is it what does he do by the way in in he does he study in Russia or is it the SEC he tells what almost all English speakers do in Russia and that is he tutors yes tutors English but uh for I need to

Talk to him someday I want to ask that even though it’s like maybe easy easy money in Source e like natural work but um I want to ask him that does it uh is it like um does it does he do something he doesn’t want to and just obligated to

Um and then I I’d love to Branch out and head you know out to the east of Russia because I I’ve seen a lot of the west but I haven’t really you the West end but I haven’t gone over to the east side of Russia so that’s definitely something

I want to do so and you of course have to come to Moscow before the snow melts yeah I need you know I was sick this time when I was in Russia and uh I was in fever and I actually went out filming but thank God I didn’t travel I the only

Choice the only tickets available were the overnight tickets to Moscow it’s like not expensive but imagine traveling in 20 38 degree fever it’s crazy sorry I didn’t know that I’m sick right now actually I’m trying so everybody’s sick yeah it’s just all right but hey I’m

Russian World so not to meaning to offend anybody like Bellar Russian world but I mean like Russian SL Slovak um uh slav world slav countries yeah or even the countries with Russian minority or like Estonia I really love to find the Russian things or even Finland I’ve done like historical series about Finland

Filming all the historical stuff that they don’t hear about the good stuff about Finnish um like Finnish um growing becoming an independent country the way it is with the huge influence of the Russian imperial Empire on this so and that’s you don’t hear about it so I

Really love to explore this stuff so I would definely it would be interesting to watch because I don’t know much about finish history myself so it’ be nice to learn something black cat says by the way just think how many times you walked past each other not knowing that’s true yeah

Buildings so these are like usually not that tall buildings they have like apartment buildings four five six floors Max and a lot of like beautiful really peaceful Courtyards you got to check out it’s like for example they’re everywhere okay but the what are your desires for 2024 eego

Uh wow I wasn’t expecting that because uh uh well yeah I would love to be able to uh main um sustain sustain myself financially with my uh youtubing this way this would gives me huge possibility to actually in um do be more and better maybe even actually do you a little bit

Less but better and make sure like to travel more inside Russia this not that it’s like ripped out of my throat you know like that I must go there like minutes and that I don’t sleep at all go back to work you know no just focus on
