Day 6/9 of our Japan trip last February. We did a day tour to Kyoto from Osaka using our Japan Rail Pass. The trip from Osaka to Fushimi Inari-Taisha was about two hours. We stopped by the traditional Japanese Starbucks in Kyoto Nineizaka before going to Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.
If you are a fan of matcha, Kyoto has the best match in Japan.
