Christmas Markets in Munich, Nuremberg & Neuschwanstein Castle – 5 Winter Days In Bavaria
Hello we started the morning with the good breakfast so hopefully today it’s going to be a long day of walking around Munich uh we want to see the city center and in the evening or afternoon to go to all the Christmas markets that we can find
So we are pretty busy um we have a few trips coming up as well as then we’re not going to see just some mic we want to see nurg and also uh go to Fen where there’s like a famous castle and I’m not going to attempt to pronounce it because my
German is horrible so I’m going to kind of put the title there and just pretend I said it but um yeah a lot of fun coming up around He so we found the medieval fair it looks very fun and there’s plenty of things to do around here so we’re going to explore Now For lunch we had to try this famous food haul which is always busy there’s no bookings you basically sit wherever you find space but the atmosphere is very vibrant traditional music good beer good food exactly where we needed M Oh so we’re in Newber today we’re going to visit the city center and hopefully the castle as well the only downside is we got here a little bit late because of the train schedules so we kind of missed the morning quiet but it’s nice and the city is very very
Cute and I’m looking forward to see all the buildings and all the Christmas markets and everything else There are so many nice things around here to see and we got a bit uh delayed by the Christmas Market in the center because it’s huge and it has so many delicious things to try but we need to catch the last rise of sun shine before getting to the castle so we’re rushing
There Now At the end of the day we went back to the central Christmas Market to enjoy one of the traditional brat worst hot dogs with sour craft it was so good the only thing I could say was Been Since Japanese pancakes started appearing all over the Internet my fascination with them was insatable so I was incredibly excited to find authentic fluffy pancakes in Munich and had to try them I have to say these were the lightest pancakes I’ve ever had simple vanilla flavor paired with
Fresh cream and fruit was match made in heaven for me good morning we are at the BMW belt right now and we want to see the museum as well and hopefully the Olympia Stadium we’ll see how much we can see from the outside and maybe go
Inside but I’m not sure if they don’t have any tours or anything like that but yeah today is going to be a nice relaxing day going through parks and there’s a lot of snow and I’m looking forward to playing and all of that because it’s been a while since I’ve
Seen snow also I want to eat more breath first because they’re so [Applause] Good We’re heading up to the newstein castle and unfortunately it’s a little bit foggy but hopefully when we get up there it’s going to lift up but uh it’s a very nice area a lot of mountains and I hopefully can show you everything we’ll see you Later so you can get to the castle by taking a train to Fen and from Fen there’s a bus right near like nearby right next to the station that takes you to the castle and from the castle uh at the base of the castle there’s the ticket office and then you
Have to do like a 25-minute hike but there’s three more castles that you can see within the same area so it depends on what you want to do First So some Impressions about the castle um we went inside and only a few rooms are finished before the king died and most of the castle is uh under construction because it’s being restored and they’re trying to finish you know the work he started but the RS we saw they were very
Very cute in the sense that um the guy just wanted to do like his fantasy medieval style Castle even though it was a 1800 uh Castle um so we had like a few themes going around we weren’t allowed to film or take photos unfortunately but I can
Tell you a bit about it he loved swans so everything is like swans themed inside and some medieval stories that he found himself in so there were painted murals all over the rooms and they were all really really nice L decorated um and also there’s a balcony that we
Wanted to well there’s a balcony that we wanted to go see and you can see the whole valley with mountains from there and it’s gorgeous so it was very very [Applause] fun Ch N A
This Christmas we decided to visit Germany for the first time, and Munich seemed like the right region to spend some winter days enjoying the Christmas Markets. We also had a day trip to Nuremberg and the Neuschwanstein Castle, which was an amazing place to see.
