  1. I've always wondered why Dubai was attractive to Indians and Pakistanis more than other cities or countries like Oman or Qatar. Now, I see what really attracts them so much. Very informative!

  2. Major chunk of the Residential property is owned by Indians. In Burj Khalifa, 168 stories residential building 28% of the apartments are owned by Indians through their companies incorporated outside India.
    Title Deed of the property is one page. It identifies the property (completes address). car park number. names of the buyer and seller and price tendered.
    Best area to live is 'The Greens & Views'. No commercial buildings. No traffic noise. Nearest metro station is 'Dubai Internet City'.
    All metro stations have toilets and also lifts.
    Buses are made in Germany but slightly better than German buses.
    Government's every utility facilities are organized and efficient.
    Emarathis are sophisticated and speak English fluently.
    Dubai has two parts — New Dubai and Old Dubai. New Dubai has skyscrapers. And the unwritten law is, if the building has 20 floors or more, may have a Gym in the same building. For low-rise buildings, the Gym has to be shared and may be within the walking distance of 5 to 10 minutes.
    Crime rate is almost Nil. America is several times more exotic but crime is rampant and one has to live in fear in most states.
    Two things raise their ugly heads. Medical care is very expensive, especially for old people without medical insurance. Secondly, the banks are probably the worst in the world.  
    The world has to learn many issues from Dubai.
