Overflying Paris in a VFR private plane like a Cessna (here the very typical french DR400) is impossible. IFR actually as well (but almost). That does not mean you can get actually close to France’s most important city, and get a breathtaking view!
I brought a student pilot friend and her friend to do a western Paris round trip, to see the Chateau de Versailles, the Chateau de St Germain en Laye, and fly right at the border of Paris restricted airspace.
You might have seen the TV show Lupin on Netflix. We also flew above the Chateau de Thoiry you can see in season 2 !
