The longest travel section of the entire world tour takes more than 3,000 nautical miles through the open sea. He leads Heidi and Peter aboard the sailing yacht Stormvogel from Galapagos to the South Seas. After 21 days at sea, the two reach the Marquesas Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. About the Tuamotos the journey continues to Tahiti.
